You can use FindWindow api to find position of taskbar. You can call winapi functions by using P/Invoke[^] To find out class name of taskbar by using spy++
|
|
|
|
|
Additionally: The class for the taskbar is Shell_TrayWnd

I am aware about it, I just wanted him to find it himself

You can also use the Rectangle s obtained by Screen.PrimaryScreen.Bounds and Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea to compute the area occupied by the taskbar.

I know it's not normally possible to browse for them in windows and that's why I'm asking this question in the C# forum.
Is there any way to read Firefox cached temporary files and identify them by names and get their contents in C#??
Please advise.

I don't think so, but if you know where they live, you could try. Working out what they are would involve working out the format their stored in, not sure how complex that would be.

Thanks Christian, I found that if you type:
about:cache?device=disk
In the address bar and hit enter, you can read the cache files in a way but not browse them, please let us know if you find a way to work this out someday and I promise to do the same if I knew anything regarding this.
Merry Christmas Christian

%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\6brnkgoc.default\Cache

Is their a way to track what folders where navigated through.
I've seen this: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/files/MonitorFolderActivity.aspx
Where it's nice for detecting what paths files were created in, etc. but i'm looking for detection of "exploring" of folders.

Simply you can monitor the LastAccessTime of a System.IO.DirectoryInfo Object.

In order to do it I need to link a file from my main project.sln to unittest.sln
How can I link a file from other solution without create the same file again in the unit test.sln
I try to USE ‘Add existing item’ option but it create copy of the file in the unit test solution and I wish to use link, have only one file with two instances in two different solutions
Thanks

You can use "Add existing item". In the file open dialog click on the file and then on the arrow right to the "Add" button. You can then select "Add as link".

Don't cross post. You'll get winforms answers in this, non ASP.NET forum.

Hi,
I need to set a background image to my report as a watermark. I tried inserting picture to newly created page header and set underlying property to true.
However, this did not solve my problem. Can somebody help me to set the background image correctly to my reports? I am using c#.net and it is for a windows application.
Thanks

Treat the arrow as a control and move it?

Tan Li,Thank you for so quick reply!
But the ToolTip form and arrow control seem not to be seamlessly connected!

By arrow control, do you mean the cursor ?

In fact, I do not quite understand what the arrow control is your post. Does it like scrollbar or anything else?
