I hope you understand but I don't think it's appropriate for me to make public another person's voting habits.

I have not seen any other complaints so I assume I have pissed him off recently.
I had not thought about the privacy of voting habits and yes I can understand the requirement. Thank anyway.

Welcome to my world...
I've been know to piss people off simply by breathing.

Yep done that, usually requires garlic, a night of drinking or some other ingredient to induce some really odious halatiotis.
I'm in 2 minds wether to start a flame war in the lounge just for entertainment, but work it picking up so I will probably leave the poor bugger in peace.

Chrome works fine except for the auto clickety on paste of an url and sometimes for no apparent reason the list of smileys to choose from is either in the proper format of "add a smiley" with them all following (although each image is cut off at 2/3 of the way horizontally) and sometimes it's randomly only a link that says "click here for a list of smileys"

I use Chrome and I never, *never* had any of those problems. And I'm here a good 4 hours a day.
Resist the urge to poke fun at that one.

You must have misunderstood: start a new message, highlight some of the text, then copy an url onto your clipboard then paste it into a message over the selected text. In Chrome all you get is an url as plain text, in IE you get the highlighted text turned into an anchor and a proper href tag generated.
As for the smileys, tell me in all honesty when you reply to this that the smiles are not all cut off 2/3 of the way across horizontally.
As for the smiley's sometimes not showing but a link to the smileys showing instead that happens sporadically but it *does* happen, I saw it today and I use Chrome exclusively and post on here quite often.

Smiley thing just happened, sorry for the misunderstanding.
As for the URL as plain text, I haven't used IE in so long I wouldn't even notice. I got accustomed to using the Link^ button CP has.
PS I just tried in the C# board my smilies are all there, seems to be only here (I did not really test anywhere else)

The paste thing is really slick from IE.

Firstly, thanks to whoever fixed the new flash problem.
However in The Lounge, at least not looked elsewhere, the voting control(s) are inconsistant. They are there on some messages, not on others. There doesn't seem to be any obvious reason for them being absent in the messages that they are absent from.
I can only think that the Hamsters have nicked the rings to extend their exercise wheels.

Didn't touch a thing
Can you do a 'View Source' and then save it to a file and email it to me? (chris at codeproject.com)

A mark all posts read feature. I don't know if it exists, but if it does then duely sorry for my blindness. If it isn't, it would be nice to mark all posts as read so I can easily tell which board has *new* posts (sometimes posts are marked as new even though I've seen them for quite some time).

Same here!
Although I think it is a problem of *new* flash not being removed when message has been viewed.
Please see this[^] thread in the lounge.

We don't mark posts as read/unread. What we do is mark any post that was made since your last visit as 'new'.
Would you like a button that resets this last visit date?

That would be extremely helpful IMO. Im on CP quite frankly all day, I don't close it I just minimize, and it rarely gets reset. That would be very helpful, cheers.

I was on the first page of messages and clicked Next.
I saved the screenshot, but I don't think it's going to do you any good.
It reports Msgs 26 to 50 of 864,115 (Total in Forum: 864,115)
And the previous, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, Next links all work, but give me no messages.
I'm leaving for home right now, so email me instructions on how to get you this screen shot if you want it, and I'll send it from work tomorrow.

Chris,
I've seem the same thing, but no screen shot. CP gets wrapped around its own axle and won't do anything. I just kill the tab and come back in, but then I loose some messages because I filter from Last Visit, and of course, this is a new visit from just a few seconds ago. But it does happen.
Dave.

I also had same kind of problem today but not sure whether its a user error or a bug.
What I did is posted message then edited it and then click next to go the next page and I did not see any messages on the second page.

Which forum?

It was the Lounge, and I think I had edited a message immediately prior to trying to move to the next page of messages.

Okay, I was in the lounge again (and had moved from page to page of messages). I created a message, and submitted it. I then went back to edit the message to correct a spelling error. After submitting the edited message, I clicked "Next", and got no messages again. It looks like it has something to do with that sequence of actions.
