the data is coming in encoded formatt.

What is the encoding of the data? Is it encoded base64 or just plain UTF-8? Could you post a snippet of the xml document?

hi,
i got the solution it was just a line
Convert.FromBase64String(string)
|
|
|
|

So it was base64 encoded...

hello
I ran into a problem with NHibernate - "LastUpdate" field of my class defaults to null but when inserted into NHibernate I got error:
<br />
+ [System.Data.SqlTypes.SqlTypeException] {"SqlDateTime overflow. Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 12/31/9999 11:59:59 PM."} System.Data.SqlTypes.SqlTypeException<br />
I want to avoid hardcoding "NULL" to 1JAN1753 - any alternatives? Thanks

Did you use a nullable DateTime (i.e. DateTime?) as the type for your field? If not, the default value for the field will not actually be null. It will be a value outside of the 1753-01-01 to 9999-12-31 range.

Thanks - is there a good solution to this other than hardcoding a date = 1753 for uninit default?

Hello,
Is there an option so that I must not call for example
private void textBox30_Validated(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
textBox30.DataBindings["Text"].BindingManagerBase.EndCurrentEdit();
}
for each control, so that an update in a control is pushed to my datasource?
My datasource is a DataTable.
Setting DataSourceUpdateMode to OnPropertyChanged or OnValidation does not have an effect!

If you want to find out what files there are, look at the System.IO.Directory.GetFiles method.
If you want to work with a file, look at the methods in the System.IO.File class. You can for example use the ReadAllText method to read a text file into a string.

Unless you are in the same local network as the database server, it can not save a file on your computer. You have to download the file from the server, whihc requires something like FTP or a web server on the server, or remote desktop access to the server.

The first thing you need to do is get a byte[] (byte array) of the image. You can use BitmapData from the LockBits as suggested before, or possibly save the bitmap to a MemoryStream and get the byte array from the stream.
Getting the binary display is then trivial, just use Convert.ToString on each byte:
foreach (byte index in byteArray)
{
Console.WriteLine(Convert.ToString(index, 2).PadLeft(8, '0'));
}

how to perform an action against the mouse click on the header of the c#asp.net gridview's column.
|
|
|
|
|
U can get that in Javascript
This code needs to be registered on page load.
TableObject.rows[0].onclick = Function("return YourFunctionName(this);");
Here
TableObject is ur gridview object
rows[0] gives the first row that is the header row.
Then write ur logic in "YourFunctionName"
