After all this moving menus and buttons and so, I am not positive about it being a bug, or simply a new feature. It must also probably have been addressed already, sorry if it is the case.
The menu stating "Rage | My Settings | My CodeProject | My Bookmarks | My Articles | Sign out" is now at the top right of the screen, black font on white background.
On the same line on the left, I have "5,859,026 members and growing! (17,584 online)", same colors, bold.
Then, below comes Bob on the left and advertisement on the right, below again the Home ... Lounge menu bar, and then everything else.
What I am wondering about is the first line, it doesn't really fit with the rest (it used to be between Bob and the advertisement, and the menu bar, with orange background), but since it is resistant to CTRL+F5, it must be a feature, ain't it ?
I run FF3.0.5 with CPHog.

Tis indeed a feature. Has been for a little while now, and I have to agree that it's jarring.

The account specific links (sign in, and then your account settings) were moved to the very top-right becuase many people simply missed those links where we had them previously. With the way it is now it's easy for me to say "sign in using the links at the top right" or "Your account settings are at the top right of every page" without members going "where? I can't see them"

It seems the recent update to CP has broken the Formatting tools when creating messages. They used to work perfectly with Opera, but now, whenever I click one, my message posts as if I clicked submit. These tools include Bold, Italic, Code Block, Link, etc. (It appears the smileys work, however.)

Which version of Opera? 9.63 on Windows is working fine for me.
9.02 couldn't even load a page without crashing.
My other account...

9.61, 9.63, and 10.0 Beta
Edit: Seems most of them work in 9.6x except the link tools. There are more problems in 10, but that is a beta.

For privacy reasons, no there isn't.

I'm writing an article on MSAA, Microsoft Active Accessibility. I noticed that there seems to be only one other article on MSAA on CP - http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cpp/msaa_intro.aspx[^] - which is in the Languages » C / C++ Language section. It seems to me that the proper place for an article on MSAA would be Platforms, Frameworks & Libraries » Win32/64 SDK & OS, and that there should be an MSAA section underneath that:
Platforms, Frameworks & Libraries » Win32/64 SDK & OS » MSAA
What do you think?

Totally agree and have made the move.

Cool.
Are you going to create MSAA section under Platforms, Frameworks & Libraries » Win32/64 SDK & OS?
|
|
|
|
|
How about a 'Microsoft Active Accessibility' subsection instead?

That's great! My article is there now.

There are currently several problems with the article header.
- The Level is being overwritten by the License. For example, this line:
Languages » C / C++ Language » General Intermediate License: The Code Project Open License (CPOL)
is being displayed as:
Languages » C / C++ Language » General License: The Code Project Open License (CPOL)
- The article header level/license display is jammed up against the location breadcrumb. I suggest putting the license on the second line, underneath the breadcrumb:
Languages » C / C++ Language » General Intermediate
License: The Code Project Open License (CPOL)

Ah - good catch. Added to the bug list.

How do I see previous aliases of a current member? I know someone told me, but for the life of me I cannot remember!

You'd have to traverse his message history.

I thought there was some link or field that gave that data; maybe it was only in my narcoleptic dreams...

Do you have any particular user in mind?
|
|
|
|
|
Nope; I just thought someone had asked about it, I checked that it was legitimate, and it was true. However, as a narco, I have many dreams that are so real-like I confuse them with reality. Could be that.

Nish is correct, and you should post your dream diary.
With Martin Hughes taking a sabatical from posting about the hopefully still potential Mrs Martin Hughes we need stand-in entertainment.

That is one of the many features CPHog offers.
