While you're messing around, can you add enough 5 votes to those posts that the kidiots can't downvote it enough to loose its red color?
Today's lesson is brought to you by the word "niggardly". Remember kids, don't attribute to racism what can be explained by Scandinavian language roots.

When you vote first and then signon (and when there is a signon failure happens), CP seems to be forgetting the sequence and just returns to the homepage again. The user has to again scroll down and cast his vote.

Added to bug list.
Some clarification though: do you mean vote on an article, message, or in a survey? Which page?

Generally, you would want to avoid signon failures.

If there were, I'm pretty sure that 99% of the messages would be automatically removed.

So, the forum would end up with 1% of posts, which would be nothing but heartless insults and sarcastic taunts by Pete.

If the list is empty and there are more articles, it should repopulate after 2 minutes.

In addition to the resons, specified by Sean there is a small bug as well, which will be fixed after next release (hopefully end of this week)

This item is an offsite news item and can be viewed here.
Also says it for CP threads.

This is the message you see if the news item is a link to an offsite item.

Chris, I understand that. I'm saying it also says it for the two CP threads that we see in the news articles. It should take us directly to those since they're on CP, or change the message not to say off-site for CP threads.

Hi,
Are there some rules, which article appears on Code Projects Latest Updates[^] page?
This article[^], updated on 6 Feb 2009, is not listed there.
Cheers,

You have to set the Article Category correctly in order to see it - or, just set the Article Category to All Topics and it will show up.
On the Home page, the Article Category is directly under the green menu bar.
|
|
|
|
|
Thanks Hans
But my Article Category is set to All Topics...

Jani

Then I don't understand what is going on. When I set to All Topics, your article is third in list. You could try Ctrl+F5 to see if that helps.
|
|
|
|
|
Nope, Ctrl+F5 does not help.
The problem exists on IE/FF/Opera in all relevant Categories. It is also missing, when I'm signed out.
Cheers,
Jani

It was the filter 'Article since'.
I I change the time filter to 'Last year' it works .
