Without using any setup and deployment, how can we create the setup file using fresh code.

Write code to copy your files to the appropraite places required, create and the registry keys and values you need, and modify any other configuration files. Shouldn't be too hard, just time consuming.

I don't have any code that shows how to do it. And seriously, if you can't copy a file in code, you really don't have the skills to make an entire setup for you app.
The only thing I use are MSI installer editors, like InnoSetup, Wise Package Studio, or InstallShield. I just don't believe in reinventing the wheel.

An ASP.NET app is a bit more complicated, and no I don't have any sample setup projects. I just don't go through the MAJOR hassle of reinventing the setup project that comes with Visual Studio.

me too. The only thing that i need to achieve is Accept the user input from the Setup Process and change the Webconfig(ConnectionString), i dont want to move directories around, but i think i should be easy to do that. My problem in the link i gave you, is that i cant open the WEbConfig to write on it. well the code works on the page , but not on the installer Class Project.

When i run My Project there is ERROR that
Could Not load file or assambly " DriveinfoEX.dll, 1.1.3326.15292 Culture=neutral,Public key token=1 or its dependensy. the application faild to start because its side by side configration is incorrect please see the application event log for more detail(Exception from HRESULT:0x800736B1)

Looks reasonable to me. I'd assume the issue is something to do with gmail, and not your code, assuming your settings are all correct.

I've just tested your code on my smtp account and it works perfectly. I only removed the following cause they don't apply in my case:

The port number for Gmail's SMTP is 587 , i think that is the problem following is the code i am using in my application and it works

I have a macro in Excel VBA.
I was running it by hot-keying it to control q, but now that all other things are up and running live, I wanted to perform the macro immediately upon opening the file.
No Problem, I thought, I would just move the macro to Private Sub Workbook_Open () / End Sub and that would be it.
Alas not.
I have no problem, I just put a Call in there instead, but I was wondering why I couldn't cut and paste the stuff in and expect it to work!
Am I missing something basic? (no pun intended)

I have an Excel spreadsheet which contains some dates that need to be converted using the function JDE2Date. It appears to work - but i get a runtime erroe 1004 Application-defined or object defined error on row 18,059. The value of the cell shows as -699947. My application crashed there. Any Ideas?

Well, the function works. What's the data that it's trying to convert?? The number you supplied does convert to a date, but in the year 1198.
