I think that something is wrong with your library path. You are trying to link x86.OBJ files and Itanium.LIB files.
Check "Tools | Options | VC++ Directories | Library files" for both DEBUG and RELEASE.

Hi all,
I am working on Twain related project and I want to extract the capabilities supported by the Source, I have gone through the Twain Spec and found that it can be done using the capability
"CAP_SUPPORTEDCAPS".
Can I have a ready code available for this extraction if so please share it.
Thanks in Advance..

Try the PurgeComm API.

PurgeComm[^]?
But I'd still be tempted to read the buffer, check it, then discard, so that you can verify the comms link is working.

read-and-ignore is a powerful algorithm under those circumstances.

Close the solution file in Visual Studio.
Open Window Explorer.
Rename the solution file.
Open the renamed solution file.

Yes. Goto the directory that contains the sln file, right click the sln file. Select rename.
Type in the new name. and lo! you are done.
Ask right questions if you want the right answer
You need to google first, if you have "It's urgent please" mentioned in your question.

The project file(.vcproj) can be renamed on right clicking and opt for Rename in Visual Studio itself.
As others said, renaming solution file can be done through explorer.

Thanks for this reply. do you have any idea how can we manage bar-code on this print page?
|
|
|
|

Here is a library for for drawing different bar-codes [^]. You can use the Draw function for both - drawing on the screen and printing. You just have to give the proper DC to this function.

Hi,
I am able to print Bitmap Images in ListBox using
HBITMAP hbmp = (HBITMAP)LoadImage(hInstTemp,Image, IMAGE_BITMAP, PicSizeX, PicSizeY,LR_LOADFROMFILE )
I want to print JPEG images in ListBox.for Bitmaps we should use "IMAGE_BITMAP" flag. There is no specific flag for JPEG.What I should use?
Rekha.

I think LoadImage will not load JPEG images it only supports BMP.
Try using CImage[^]class for other file types.

Print the jpg or bmp is not different you only need to a handle to these files for bmp files you can us of LoadImage but for jpg files you can use of CImage class or GDI+ after get it you can use of StartDoc/StartPage.

Hi Chandrasekharanp,
The link which you have sent is to display icons or bitmaps. I know how to Display Bitmaps. But my problem is with JPEG Images which I have mentioned in my Query.
Can anyone suggest me how to use CImage.I am new to MFC.

|
|

Did you look at the link i provided?? It shows the members of CImage.
you can use Load method to load the JPEG files. After you load the bitmap using CImage object you can get HBITMAP. After you get HBITMAP you know what you have to do
I hope it helps.
Regards,
Sandip.

It's simple:
CImage m;
m.Load(_T("c:\\1.jgp"));
HBITMAP hbitmap=m.Detach(); it returns a hbitmap
