If a user stops your page half loaded, the results can be unpredictable. Why not use frames to contain the page that has all this data, so there's a fully loaded page the user can interact with while they wait, if they want ?

The course to become a developer is three years, so I assume this means you're still in school. So, I suggest you talk to your teacher. You've not spent your only year of programming experience charging for your work, right ? Because that's obviously immoral.

Hi,
When you are loading some data on Page Load, Use UpdatePanel and UpdateProgress controls to show Status. Until then Don't show the button.

Hi,
What is the difference when adding a new website and adding a new web project? When I add a new website then I go and select the virtual website from IIS. Is this also the case when creating a website project?
When I debug a website, when does it run with port number and when not? I create a new website and when I debug it runs it from as it is saved on IIS like http://localhost/MyWebsite, and another ptoject would look something like http://localhost:1234/.

Just one simple search query in google and see the result[^].

There's no visible difference to the end user. I believe the difference is that one has a csproj and one does not.

You could make both pages controls in a single page. But, what you're doing now plainly won't work if they are seperate pages, I mean, you know that, right ?

Hi,
I am developing a web app (ASP.NET 2005).
Is there any control for displaying both flash and image files?
|
|
|
|
|
no, but you could create your own usercontrol

Which bit don't you understand ? It's quite trivial, create a control to house an image and a flash control. I think the real question is, why do you need this, b/c I suspect that what you want and what you'll get, are probably different.

Hi,
First ,I need to know if there is any possibility for housing both flash and image files in one control.
If yes ,then where could i find that control?

OK, I guess this means you're illiterate.
Yes, it's possible. Where can you find the control ? You need to write it. And, it will just be the exact same script, inside a control, as if you add an image and a flash seperately to your page. The only reason to write a control, is that you have a reason to use this combination over and over in your project.
If you mean you want to place an image above a flash, you obviously can't do that. They will be next to each other, or you could write code that only shows one or the other.

I suspect it means you're in over your head. Did you consider telling us what you've done in response to the error message ? Do you use Response.Write or any of the other stuff it mentions ? Have you tried removing stuff from your page to see if you can make it work ( and work out what breaks it ) ?

I am not getting which part of this error message is unclear for you.
