nope there is no such tool. Sorry, you're on your own.
You could add runtat=server to the HTML control, but they will still be html control that run on the server.

If you look at the IGN website (http://www.ign.com), you'll notice they initially load a red image with their logo for about 2 seconds before loading the entire page.
Does anyone know how I could do this via either via asp.net, ajax, javascript?
Thanks.

Create a page which would just have the IMAGE HTML.
And then add script as below
window.setTimeout("document.location.href='<your target="" page="">'", 2000)
to the window.onload event of first page.

What do you mean by that? You want to change session variable on button click ?
You just need to update the session variable. Better you post the code and ask your query.

I don't think "null" is good name. I would do
Session("ShowImage") = True
Session("ShowImage") = False

Hi,
I have a serious problem as use web service in .net,
the problem is described in the following link to microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/815131
I have to work with three Web services, each of which I shall return complex objects such
is array containing an array of complex objects
eg
Elem ele = new Elem();
class Elem{
Arrayd[] arr = new Arrayd[x];
...
}
class Arrayd{
dettagliopre[] dett = new dettagliopre[x];
}
class dettagliopre{
string uno;
string due;
string tre;
string quattro;
....
}
...Classes are too long, but if necessary to send the following....
when using web service I get the data the utility of visual studio does not recognize the objects serialized in the proxy class and associates the type of return to type System.Data.DataSet or System.Data.DataSet []
...Furthermore, the data returned from the three web service must be compatible with each other...
I apologize if I was not clear whether or not I have respected the rules of the forum ...

"Invalid postback or Callback argument."

what do you think %20 means? why do your want to remove it? What do you think will happen if you remove it? Just think about it.
%20 reperensts the space in "About Us.htm". Now what happens when you remove it, you get "AboutUs.htm". Is that what you want to get. I don't think so.

I am getting this following error while trying to send a mail in asp.net.
"Failure sending mail. ----> System.FormatException: Smtp server returned an invalid response"
Please help me out....its urgent.
my Host name: localhost
|
|
|
|

you see, sending an email is unpredictable. It takes its own time. Don't rush it with urgent or the system will throw all sorts of exception as a protest. Pretend it is not urgent and it will go zoom. Another thing I find it very useful is bribing the loclhost , chocolate chip cookies are the best bribes.
Try to debug your code. It is telling you, your message is not properly formatted. what else can I say?
