I would like to be able to optionally specify that a table (e.g., a large table of functions) be collapsible, like the PRE blocks are now.

This was a dumb question. You can do it.

You already can change (but not remove) your vote.

Wow you can. Chris is going to delete this thread. It has no value here. You are right.

Vote deletion isn't an option at present.

No I meant my original question was really stupid. I want Chris to delete this post because I was dumb.

That isn't a valid reason. If Chris were to delete all dumb messages, he could retire several servers.

Oh didn't you notice, analogous to square roots, they recently introduced rectangular, circular, and diamond roots to determine the size of the corresponding shapes when given the area. Luc Pattyn[^]

The left side is cut off, and despite there being three messages already posted there, I can't view them...
Maybe articles should be filtered to display only ascii characters...

Until the rest of the world uses ASCII it's not going to happen.

I have gathered 4 pages of bookmarks in the 'My Bookmarks' section. Now, when I try to enter the 'My Bookmarks' section, it comes up empty: see here[^]
Is this a new feature, or is there a problem with the database?

Dear Santa Chris,
My name is Adam. I'm a lazy-ass .NET programmer who really, quite honestly, doesn't like moving from his rather comfortable desk chair. For that reason, it would make sense for me to find a job (in general, of course, but more specifically) that allows me to remain in my comfortable spot whilst making money. Since I've been a good boy this year (well, as far as my official criminal record is concerned) do you think you could make a little button or a doodad of sorts that lets one filter out all except telecommuting jobs during a job search?
Thanks,
Adam Maras
P.S. A shiny new racecar would be nice too

I'm sorry I never replied to this, but I just wanted to say this is the best-worded suggestion I've read in a long, long time.
In any case, the suggestion is in our system and we're now planning Job Board 2.0: Lazy-ass.NET version.
'cause it just makes sense...cheers,

I think it would be cool if when voting we could have the option to be anonymous or not. If we choose not to be anonymous a new symbol appears that users can hover the pointer over and see the list of voters who chose to not be anonymous.
Doing this we can share our vote if we choose and thereby build stronger relationships with peers or let them know we didn't agree or whatever. Yet we still preserve that innate ability to vote and remain private. The default of course for this is to be "anonymous" and the voter simply clicks the "public" option or whatever and that's how it goes.
I think it'd be nifty.

|
|
|

I disagree.
Allowing anonymous voting would promote voting abuse - again.

I don't think he's suggesting anonymous voting, I think he's suggesting the opposite: explicitely allowing members to see what your vote was.
Currently only articles force you to give up any voting info. We could make it so that messages, catalog items, anything votable would have a link that showed who voted what for those who choose to make public their votes.
