SO HELP ME IF YOU CAN

It would be a security risk to disclose a path on a client. There is no connection between the save dialog box and the web server. To do something like that would require something like an ActiveX control. Guessing from the question this may be beyond your ability level. I have never looked, there maybe someone out there that sells or has a open source ActiveX control. If you do use an ActiveX control read up on the browser security that entails.

I have a master page that has a textbox control and button control for global search. And i have a few pages inheriting from the master page which also contain a textbox control and a button control. When i type in the textbox control and press enter the master page button gets pressed because it is always is focus. How can i handle this problem?

In your content page put your textbox and button inside an ASP:Panel. The ASP:Panel has a default button property. When set it is the button click that will fire when the enter key is pressed.
I didn't get any requirements for the signature

Hi friends, I use a grid view for paging I write the coding like this.
form id="form1" runat="server">
<div>
<asp:GridView ID="GridView1" runat="server" AllowPaging="True"
AllowSorting="True" BorderWidth="2px" BackColor="White"
GridLines="None" CellPadding="3"
CellSpacing="1" BorderStyle="Ridge" BorderColor="White">
</asp:GridView>
</div>
</form>
try
{
con.Open();
com=new SqlCommand("SELECT [ProductName], [UnitPrice],[UnitsInStock], [QuantityPerUnit] FROM [Products] order by [ProductName]",con);
SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter(com);
DataSet ds = new DataSet();
da.Fill(ds);
GridView1.DataSource = ds;
GridView1.DataBind();
ds.Dispose();
da.Dispose();
con.Close();
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
Response.Write(ex.Message);
}
The datas are displayed. But when i click on the 2nd number, it shows a error
The GridView 'GridView1' fired event PageIndexChanging which wasn't handled
Can anyone say where to handle this event?
|
|

Just do it
protected void GridView1_PageIndexChanging(object sender, GridViewPageEventArgs e)
{
GridView1.PageIndex = e.NewPageIndex;
GridView1.DataBind();
}

hi.
i have a website that contains a div with an iframe in it. the main window have tabs(buttons) by clicking them the iframe src is changed to a page of that tab. for example the "customers" tab is changing the src of the iframe to clients.aspx that contains a table of that customers and a few buttons for insert and delete that fires an ajax action and the table is updated via javascript.
the problem is when the user make actions in the iframe like deleting a customer , if he then clicks on the "back" button in the browser the iframe history is fired rather then the main window history. so if he deletes a customer and hit "back" than its like the last action is rolled back and the last record that had been deleted in js is showing up again.

use javascript to disable back button there.
