Hello Everyone,
I am UNIX network programmer and my area of interest includes SOCKETS and IPC.I am a newbie to the SIP protocal, just started going through the RFC3261 and grasping the theorotical knowledge from other books too.
I would like to implement "SIP client" "SIP proxy" "SIP Registar" and "SIP Server" kind of setup on my PC( i have 2 LINUX PC's). Basically I would like to initiate a call on one LINUX system and answer the same call on the other LINUX system, i want to communicate both of them using the SIP protocal. Right now im looking for the open source softwares which may provide such kind of setup. All this just to make my learning more PRACTICAL.
I would appreciate(Infact Thankful)if any one can share such kind of available setup or information which can throw more light into my understanding.
Cheers,
Satish Robin.

Hello Parag,
Apologies for a late rely.
I was actually looking around for an opne source software to implement. I have tried around customizing PJSIP and reSIP to fit in my requirements. But unfortunately i was unsuccessful.
I am still trying out..your help in this aspect is very much appreciated.
Thanks again.

What kind of question is that? If you don't go forward, you go backwards!

Didn't know where else to post this because prolog doesn't have its own forum. Since it is part of GNU I decided to give this forum a shot.
I have a program and need to show that i can run the correct Queries...Having no knowledge of syntax i can't really understand any tutorials.
Heres the program..
d(iron, steam).
d(pumps, mines).
d(mines, railroads).
d(iron, railroads).
d(iron, guns).
d(electricity, aluminum).
d(iron, electricity).
d(aluminum, jumbojet).
d(writing, printingpress).
d(printingpress, comicbook).
d(iron, printingpress).
d(aluminum, printingpress).
depends(X,Y) :- d(X,Y).
depends(X, Y) :- d(X, Z), depends(Z, Y).
Here are the questions...
What do you need to invent the comic book?
What do you need to invent electricity?
If you don't have steam engines, what can you not invent?
Given aluminum and electricity, what can you invent?
Which inventions are dependent on iron?
|
|
|

try this:
?- depends(X,comicbook)
?- depends(X,electricity)
(no clue about "If you don't have steam engines, what can you not invent?")
?- depends(aluminum, Y), depends(electricity,X)
?- depends(iron,Y)
PS: I assume that depends(X,Y) means that, with X, you can make Y

What's your problem exactly ?

everytime i try to run this app it request for athe dreamweaver sites but php doesnt run in dreamweaver.
by running i mean opening a php page eg index.php in dreamweaver and the F12 in dreamweaver.

Notepad, or Textpad is pretty good. I don't know of any IDE to edit php files like dreamweaver.

You need to set up your computers local server to parse php files you can either install php on iis or install it on apache (try googling "xampp").
With xampp:
- install xampp and make sure apache is running
- put website in htdocs folder (ie. c://xampp/htdocs/[websitefoldername]).
"htdocs" folder is your web doc root (like "wwwroot")
- run dreamweaver
- choose "manage sites" from the file panel
- click "New"
- "advanced" tab
- give site name and enter the path to your website as local root folder (ie. c://xampp/htdocs/[websitefoldername])
- category -> testing server
- sever model = php mysql
- access = local network
- testing server folder = the path to your website as local root folder (ie. c://xampp/htdocs/[websitefoldername])
- url prefix = http://localhost/[websitefoldername]
- open a file and press F12
Hope that helps

the sites are working fine in dreamweaver but on f12 or http://localhost/mytest/index.php the pages keeps opening in dreamweaver.

Either your site manager isn't configured correctly in DW or your Server setup isnt parsing php files.
If you put a blank php doc in your wwwroot it should load up as a blank webpage if you open your browser and go to localhost/pathtoyourphpfile.php. If it doesn't then you know your server isn't parsing the files.
If your site doesn't have to be tested on IIS then I would suggest trying apache (xampp) as described before.
