Well, there are number of issues here. Do you want to show the server or client time?
Not all countries follow the same daylight saving starting and ending date see here for detail.[^]. Then you need to figure out where the user is located and apply the time difference from UTC and apply Daylight Saving appropriately.

Oh didn't you notice, analogous to square roots, they recently introduced rectangular, circular, and diamond roots to determine the size of the corresponding shapes when given the area. Luc Pattyn[^]

This should be the your domain user id and password. If you do not want to receive this, you can change the authentication settings to anonymous .
Good luck !!

Yah Sure!
1. Open IIS [ Run > inetmgr ]
2. In Tree Explorer > Web Sites > Default Web Sites
3. Right Click > Directory Security > Edit > Check Enable "Anonymous Access Checkbox ".
Note : This will be applicable to all of the Virtual Directory that are hosted inside the "default web sites". If you want to Virtual Directory Specific, rather than doing on Default web site, do the same changes on particular virtual directory.
Let me know if you have any issue,
Good Luck !!

hi,
I have a drop down list box and a menu bar above it. The menu bar produces drop down sub-menus on mouse over. But the Drop down list box is being displyed over the menu option. What can i do to display the sub-menus above drop down list. I am not able to get the z-index property for drop down list....

well... this is the most common problem with IE 6. Dropdown always comes over divs. I think what you can do, is to create an IFrame below the div a floating one, or an IFrame just below the dropdown, and then above the IFrame place the menu.
Iframe comes over selects always.

yes, its in C#.net
/////
public static SqlConnection connCommDB = new SqlConnection("Data Source=SADAFIT-9D6E926;Initial Catalog=ReservationSynchorizer;Integrated Security=True;");
SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand();
SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter();
cmd.CommandType = CommandType.Text;
cmd.CommandText = "?????"
cmd.Connection = conn;
conn.Open();
da.SelectCommand = cmd;
da.Fill(ds);
conn.Close();

ASP.NET is a framework dealing with web applications. It has nothing to do with database access. ADO.NET is the part of the .NET Framework that deals with database access.
If you are wanting to INSERT data using SQL, then don't use a SqlDataAdapter unless it is directly related to the source of the data, which in this case it isn't. In fact, I wouldn't use data adapters at all.
The command Text should probably look something like this:
INSERT INTO myTable (column1, column2, column3) VALUES(@column1, @column2, @column3)
Replacing myTable , columnX and @columnX with the approproate table name, column names, and parameter names.
You will also have to create parameters to put the data that you want to insert into the query.
cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@column1", myValue);
When you are done, use cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() rather than with a DataAdapters. You can't fill anything with an INSERT statement. Only SELECT.

try this
INSERT INTO database..tablename (columnname)
(SELECT top 100 columnname FROM database..tablename)

You can do it all in SQL, but remember to link the servers together too. The source and destination are on different servers.

Why not? What is stopping that solution? It would be the most efficient if it works.
|

because insert is onse server and select is from the other server
how i define them?

|

A fully qualified table name is as follows:
[server].[database].[schema].[table]
Normally you omit the bits that can be inferred. e.g. if you are in a specific database and the table is in the same database you don't have to specify anything other than the table.
So: SELECT * FROM DB-SRV1.Sales.dbo.Order
You will have to link the SQL Servers together first otherwise it won't know where to find the other server.
