As I said, go with WebClient class. It is the easiest one. Use the WebProxy[^] class and set it to WebClient.Proxy property.

Your user is entering the required URL in text box and you need to get the HTML of that page on button click, right? If yes, WebClient or any request/response classes is the way to go. Alternatively, you can use JS and send AJAX request to the page. Get the response and read values from it. InnerHTML may work in this scenario(I haven't tried it). But I'd suggest the webclient rather than JS.

I am doing an ASP .NET application, where I want to display my grid view as with following requirements.
Paging is working for the grid, and page size is set to 10.
After 10 pages, it shows "..." three dots. I want to show next there always. If I go to page number 15, it should show
the first page as Previous.
If i go to the 11 page now it is showing some thing like this
First ... 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 ...
Here is my Pagerstyle settings for the grid

hi everybody
I implemented Role base security in asp.net on my project. its web.sitemap and tree view working absolutely fine. but when I used below code copied from microsoft site.

i am doing membership walkthrough from msdn. at one step it says set default.aspx as start page. i set it as required but when i start website the login.aspx appears instead of default.aspx

Then it thinks you need to be logged in in order to see the default.aspx page.
