You're going to have to find an forum that deals with AutoCad specifically. There is going to be very, very few people around here who are familiar with AutoCad, let alone the libraries you're using to talk to it. In my 7 years around CP, this is only the 2nd AutoCad question I've seen.

I don't use AutoCad so, no.
Try AutoDesk's site, then Yahoo and Google and a few carefully chosen search terms.

I have been writing an app in Visual Studio 2008 with a sql 2005 back end. The app is in testing right now and I am trying to wrap everything up. I was just wondering if there is some easy way to tell how much hard drive storage the app will use, and also if you know how; how do I find out the minnimum RAM requirements. There may not be a way to do this but I still really need an answer to the original question (HD space requirements). Thanks in advance for your help!

HDD storage required: Add the file size of finished application and support libraries to the total maximum size of any setting files you might store while the program is running
Minimum RAM requirements: Look in Task Manager's Process tab. View the Peak Working Set column (you might have to use the View menu)

Hi all
- I have a form with 4 RadioButton and 1 Treeview control
- Each RadioButton populate the treeview from the database in different way.
- Suppose I click on the 1st RadioButton, the Ttreeview is populated by reading from the Database, then I click on the 2nd RadioButton, The Treeview is populated, then I click on the 1st RadioButton again, the Treeview will be populated by reading again from the database.
Q: What I want is when pressing the first RadioButton first time, store - in a way - the treeview, so when pressing the same RadioButton again i don't want it to be read from database again and again.
Here is how I am populating the treeview
' **** RadioButton1_CheckedChanged ****
Dim cnn As New OleDb.OleDbConnection("Provider=VFPOLEDB.1;Data Source=F:\Help_Desktop_12\DBF\API\API.dbc")
cnn.Open()
Dim cmd As New OleDb.OleDbCommand("SELECT p_func FROM api GROUP BY p_func ORDER BY p_func", cnn)
Dim dr As OleDb.OleDbDataReader
dr = cmd.ExecuteReader
If RadioButton1.Checked Then
Me.TreeView1.Nodes.Clear()
While dr.Read
Me.TreeView1.Nodes.Add(dr("p_func"))
End While
End If
Thanks In advance.

Why don't you just have two treeviews and show/hide it based on the radio button.

|

In my case, I should have 4 Treeview above each other, changing one property of a single Treeview will make me change it in the all 4.
I will check if I can store the Treeview in variable TreeNodeCollection and post back if succeed.
Thanks.

You could store the values in one variable, and you could write some code to parse the contents of the variable and populate the treeview?
Edit:
Or in a file instead of a variable
If everything was not true, would it be not true that everything is not true?

Hi
Can someone please show me how I can disable drag and drop in a form using VB.Net?
Thanks
|
|
|
|
|
Well, I think I'm right in saying that unless you handle the drag-and-drop event nothing will happen anyway. So, don't handle the drag-and-drop event
|
|
|
|
|
Ok, so how do I handle the event? You have to excuse my ignorance, but I am fairly new to VB.Net, and I am learning by experience.
All I am trying to achieve is stop a user from highlighting a piece of text and dragging it over to a document. So, how can I stop a user from doing this?
Thanks

But, but that is private method. No use outside of the class

Hi All,
Recently, i developed a Product in VB6. It is related to Banking... For some security softwares considering this a malicious software. In this software, there are two main files
1) Autorun.exe
2) IDBankingB.exe
Autorun.exe
-----------
1. It will copy the related files(DLL) to "System32" directory and registering the DLLs
2. Call the Main exe (IDBankingB.exe), and terminate(Autorun.exe) by itself.
IDBankingB.exe
--------------
Actual functionality of banking.
Is there any implementation change requires in "Autorun.exe"?
If there is no need to change the implementation, then how to escape from security software...
Please help me if anybody knows...
Thanks
Thanks & Regards
