you cant encrypt the web server name, as it should be hit to process. The only thing that you can do is to hide the rest part.
You can take the help of some servers which provides tinyurls, which may in some extent hide the server name as well. Try tinyurl to get custom urls.

hi,
I need to create a chart using crystal reports. I searched on google and I found tutorials on creating reports using crystal reports but they don't focus on charting.
I tried to create a chart myself but the problem is that I couldn't create a bar chart between a string field and an int field.
(ex: Features on X axis and The total number of usage on Y axis)
Somehow the chart calculates the count of the second field so the actual field values are not displayed.
Can someone help me out?? There are not enough tutorials on the web...

Hi, you must have public property to get the value of your U.C. dropdownlist.
example: public str as string = ddl.selecteditem.value
Hope this one can help.
Thanks

Just write a Public Property in .ascx file.
For example :
public string GetSelectedValue
{
get{return DropDownlist1.SelectedValue;}
}

if the input is same for both case check the date time settings on server, weather it is dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy.
I will suggest you to use DateTime.Parse() and use Current Culterinfo for the convertion.

Hi,
Try using this code, this is a bit lengthy work but is useful in these type of cases.
string[] arrdate = textbox1.Text.Split('/');<br />
<br />
<br />
int year = Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[2].ToString());<br />
int month = Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[1].ToString());<br />
int day = Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[0].ToString());<br />
<br />
<br />
DateTime myDt = new DateTime(year, month, day);<br />
<br />
DateTime myDt = new DateTime(Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[2].ToString()), Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[1].ToString()), Convert.ToInt32(arrdate[0].ToString()));<br />
<br />
