Dear All,
I have a win form which has two package at two side, each package looks like a bucket.
these bucket are images in picture box.
I have another picture which is 80 * 50 pixel. I want to move this picture [80*50] from one bucket to another while user should be able to see the movement of the picture the same as copying,deleting or moving files from drive to drive.
how can i achieve such a goal?

I'd look to animate the image along a path if I were you.

You asked how you could achieve it - I told you. It's up to you now.

You need to change the position of the image with time. And loop it back so as to make it repititive. But you might not be having a very proper visual of the animation.

I have a .exe file in which there are certain options to choose. According to choose of these options I have to make a installer. How can I achieve this. Any Idea??????
Thanks in advance.

How are you creating the installation package if the options were known? Are you using any installation SDK in specific?

Thanks for quick reply...
Let me clear my question...
I have a exe file of the project. In this the option choosing page along with all the forms which are needed for the particular option. Lets say if I tick 2 option among 5 option then I should have to make setup file taking only the forms related to the options I choose. Its like a making setup file in runtime.

I understood your query, but I was asking you if you are using any setup SDK in particular. Not all installers offer you an API that you can use from your code (they only have a GUI). You might want to use the Windows installer SDK[^]. The API reference for the same is here[^].
CodeProject has a wrapper class around the said API - Wrapping the Windows Installer 2.0 API[^]

If the setup is relatively simple, you might as well consider doing the packaging yourself with the cab SDK[^] or you could create a self-extracting archive.
If you choose to do it with a self-extracting archive, there are several ways (z-lib, lzma sdk, etc.,). I remember there was a C# wrapper around the lzma sdk (and that supported creation of self-extracting archives from your code) . A search must bring up plenty of options.

Hi guys,
After a long google search, I accurately found out what I wanted. So, I thought to show this off to you guys. The only difference is, the project in the link has been written in VB.NET and I am trying to convert it to C#.NET. Heres the link, please go through it: Use CLSID to secure folders in WinXP[^]
PS: The above link also mentions about hiding a folder, is that somewhat malicious?
Cheers,

Without CodeProject I am nowhere! So, I am in a circular Array which has only two index positions. I say goodbye forever from the 2nd index position and then again return back to the first.

RajdeepOption[] roArr = new RajdeepOption[]{ new RajdeepOption("Attempt to Code"), new RajdeepOption("Goodbye") };
foreach (RajdeepOption ro in roArr)
{
try
{
ro.Run();
}
catch (FailException fe)
{
CodeProject.Help(fe.Gibberish);
}
}
Rajdeep.Exit();
Nothing circular about that!

Calm down, calm down.
Breathe deeply, and slowly.
In...
...Out
In...
...Out.
Thats better.
Now, tell me: How long have you been feeling he is in your startup?

Yeah, and only people who don't know any better would think that this is a valid security technique, and it's not a supportable solution. It screws up backup software and what would happen if you lost the batch file that removed the CLSID?? How are you goin gto recover the folder??
Rajdeep.NET wrote: PS: The above link also mentions about hiding a folder, is that somewhat malicious?
No, it's just plain stupid. The only people it stops are the ones who don't know how the file system or Explorer works.
