Does your process will start for single time or it will execute based on user request?
CodingLover wrote: I think of this simple start a process using System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo.
Yes, you can Execute Process on your Server using System.Diagnostics.Process.
CodingLover wrote: Is that safe, what your thoughts of that.
That depends on your requirements. Which process to start? How many times will it execute?
You should also need to give the Permission to execute the file. It will working fine from VS, but while you deploy it on Web server you need to give the permission.

Thanks for the comment.
Actually process start on user request. There is a check box in one of my ASP page. Once user check it process is started, and on un-check process want to kill.
I've try the way I say in my first post, after hosting the site. Process is started, but under NETWORK SERVICE user name. And also I cannot see the window as well. (I just run the command prompt, a simple server application).
But if I test on VS, locally in it works fine. I can see the application window and so on.
What should I do to solve that?
I appreciate your help all the time...

You can't drawn any sort of lines, not without SVG. You can create lines with css, but they have to be square.

Hi,
We are a small company. We are working on social networking site. In this i have the functionality to show the advertisement on the site. I'm new to this domain. I have the following questions.
1) How to pull the ads and show to the site based on the user viewing content?
2) How to keep track the user impression on the ads?
3) Is there any other third party tools available? I have gone through the Google Ad Sense. Still looking for some other aspects.
Any reference link or ideas are welcome.
I hope you people help me out in this problem.

You are a retard. If you typed that into google, you'd get your answer. Here, it does not qualify as a question, and it tells us you are probably too stupid to understand the answer.

I understood what has happened. You had Internet Explorer window with your favorite search engine open in one window. In another window, you had CodeProject new message page open.
Either the windows got swapped because of window.onLoad scripts in either of the website or because of advanced Friday syndrome, you happened to paste the query over here. Am I right?

Can anybody tell me how can I copy a whole data column from a data table into an array of integers ?
OR how can I read values of all the rows of a datacolumn (using for loop) and then pass these values to an array (double [] data).
|
|
|
|
|
System.Collections.Generic.List<int> intValues = new List<int>();
foreach (DataRow r in dt.Rows)
{
//FIx to hand nulls if necessary
intValues.Add((int)r["myColumnName"]);
}
return (int[])intValues.ToArray();
I didn't get any requirements for the signature

put a break point on there and check to see what type r["A"] is. perhaps it is dbnull or some other value that is not a double. should be an easy fix.

Hey there, I've got a string of xml that is saved in a database as an image. I'm having troubles with the conversion of the binary data to a string so that I can use it. The closest I seem to have gotten is to have a string of 0s returned.
byte[] bytXML = (byte[])(oDataView[i]["XMLData"]);
System.IO.MemoryStream oReader = new System.IO.MemoryStream();
string sXML = "";
for (int iCount = 0; iCount < bytXML.Length; iCount++) {
sXML = sXML + oReader.Read(bytXML,iCount,1).ToString();
}
oReader.Close();
divXML.InnerHtml = sXML;
Any help would be much appreciated.

Why is it not coming from the DB as a string ?

hello
Reading a sample from MSDN:
<br />
<%@ Page Language="C#" uiculture="auto" %><br />
<%@ Import Namespace="System.Threading" %><br />
<%@ Import Namespace="System.Globalization" %><br />
<script runat="server"><br />
protected override void InitializeCulture()<br />
{<br />
if (Request.Form["ListBox1"] != null)<br />
{<br />
String selectedLanguage = Request.Form["ListBox1"];<br />
UICulture = selectedLanguage ;<br />
Culture = selectedLanguage ;<br />
<br />
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = <br />
CultureInfo.CreateSpecificCulture(selectedLanguage);<br />
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture = new <br />
CultureInfo(selectedLanguage);<br />
}<br />
base.InitializeCulture();<br />
}<br />
</script><br />
In this example, line "Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = CultureInfo.CreateSpecificCulture(selectedLanguage)" set the culture for "CurrentThread" - but if there're say thirty users, is this visible to all of them?
Thanks
