OK. Where are you uploading to ? Is this a web app ? What is the issue ?
mirzamujib wrote: but when i'm deploying my project, the database is not connecting so i've to add database separately on the other system even though i'm adding database during setup
What is your connection string ? If the DB will be local, use localhost, not the machine name.

Check your Database field which you R Trying to insert null value is not a required filed in that table, and it's not a *NOT NULL* Field.

Don't think Access'97 supports null strings.

VB6 and Access 97? Why are you developing in dead software/languages?

If the field is able to store NULL values, then you should also use the NULL in your insert statement:
insert into table (field, field, ...) values ('value', null, ...
|
|
|
|
|
In the design of the Access database table in question, ensure that the field is set to 'Allow Zero Length' and that it is not 'Required'.

Hello There,
I am developing a POS Application in vb.net and using Firebird 2.01 as Database. the only problem i have there is when the connections to Firebird increase...The Client Software starts FREEZING...mostly when updating a table [Stock]. Can anybody help.

Sounds like the software is freezing because of issues with the DB. Perhaps if you do your updates on another thread, or get a better database ?

Hi,
if you're using the VSTO you should find plenty of examples here and in MSDN. Just use e.g. "VSTO Sample" as keywords for your search. VSTO also has a template for COM Add-Ins.
Without VSTO it's a pretty complex issue.

Can someone explain how to develop a program that capture keystrokes and write them to a log file or text file? Like a keystroke monitor program.

Key loggers are always suspicious. You purpose of developing one might or might not be an honest one.
And, DO NOT CROSS POST.

It's always comforting to me that the people who want to write evil software, usually have no idea how to do it. Now, you may have a perfectly valid reason to write a keystroke logger, but that's not what people are going to think when you say it like that.

Unfortunately there will always be a few people who have both the desire and knowledge to do it. Luckily we're very unlikely to ever see any of them on CP.
There are three kinds of people in the world - those who can count and those who can't...

Is it possible to show the calendar screen of a DateTimePicker control by clicking an image instead of clicking the control's downward triangle? I cannot find a property from the class for showing the calender screen. please help. Thanks.
Eric H.

AFAIK DateTimePicker exposes nothing about that down arrow. I can suggest either to go for a third party control or override OnPaint for the form and Paint an image on the down arrow.
