0. Don't use Crystal Reports.
1. Try using zedGraph[^], it is a much cleaner wy to produce graphs and charts.
2. I'm serious about #0.
Panic, Chaos, Destruction.
My work here is done.

Greetings,
I would like to know if anyone has any code or even VB script, Perl etc that can simply be run from a command line to download whatever page is on a browser and write the raw HTML to a file, it can also be MHT for that matter.
I know about using - Navigate etc for a specific web page. This is different. The page I go to require authentication with word art and user name and password etc. Then once there you must click a few times to get where you are going for the data. Therefore running a script to direct me to a certain webpage will not work. The page has to be displayed first and then downloaded.
So, I just want to take whatever is currently on the browser, mainly due to catch refreshes of new data. Understand the page I am getting data from is generated as from a database so I can not simply run a script file to download that page. The program must be able to simple be activated and write to disk what ever is displayed on the browser at the time the program is run.
I have a seperate data extractor to run against the new file to find the data I need. This file can always have the same name as well and be overwritten.
Thanks,
Antone

How to write my own printing control, which will printing html (HtmlDocument)?
The control should set print settings in code c#.

I think, what you need is PrintDocument.
Just put PrintDocument in PrintPreviewControl and you can see the result.

Yes, but I don't convert HtmlDocument to PrintDocument. That is the problem.

Good morning.
I have a user control which is docked on a form. On this user control there are three tabs. On the first tab, there are some text boxes, labels, and command boxes. The names I am trying to reference from the DAL class are as follows:
tabControl1
ucTabs user control
UIPCMainForm form
tpEntry first tab
tbContainer textbox
I used Intellisence, but could not come up with the references in any combination.
Any ideas? Thank you, WHEELS

OK think you have lost me a bit.
Are you trying to access controls in one class from another class?
If so, make sure they have an access type that is available outside the class, i.e. 'public'
Better still, Create Properties to the data you wish to manipulate from another class, like...
public string TextBox1Text{
get{return TextBox1.Text;}
set{TextBox1.Text = value;}
}
That goes in the same class that has the textbox in.

Hi musefan.
I am trying to access controls from one class to another.
I added the following to the user control (docked form) class:
public string TbContainer
{
get { return tbContainer.Text; }
set { tbContainer.Text = value; }
}
When I tried to reference the control it still doesn't come up under Intellisence.
I figured it should be something like ucTabs.tbContainer, ucTabs.tbEntry.tbContainer, ucTabs.tabControl1.tbEntry.tbContainer, etc.
Any suggestions?

By default, when you add controls in the designer (which I assume you are using) they will be set at 'private'
So, if you want to have them available, go into the designer file and set them to 'public' but this is bad practice.
What exactly do you want to do with these controls and maybe I can give a better suggestion?

In this instance, I need to take the value entered by the user and pass it as a variable to a API call.
The value may also be used in a lookup in a query on a database.
I hope that helps.

So you want to get the value of 1 textBox?
the property example i gave you will do this... you could also try a simple method...
public string GetMyValue()
{
return TextBox1.Text;
}
...thou that's basically a property without a 'setter' (a 'getter')
P.S make sure you use parameters in any database query you do using user defined values

how can can i load an image from a file in to a picture box in mobile application (not using filedialog)
when the page loads it must display the picture
This code was posted by me...

Well you can use...
PictureBox1.Image = Image.FromFile("filepath");
But you will probably bump into file access issues at some point so use the following...
FileStream fs = new FileStream("filepath", FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);
PictureBox1.Image = Image.FromStream(fs);
fs.Close();
That should do the trick for you

well you didn't say anything about that in your original post. - Hmmmm... was that there before? My bad if it was
Are you using the compact .Net Framework? Here's[^] one of many links on a google search
P.S There is a forum dedicated to 'Mobile Development'

byte[] data = new byte[1024];
data=receivefile();
System.IO.MemoryStream ms = new System.IO.MemoryStream(data);
try
{
FileStream fs = new FileStream("\\Program Files\\syswifi\\pic\\screen.Bmp", FileMode.Create);
ms.WriteTo(fs);
ms.Flush();
fs.Close();
ms.Close();
i m getting "exception in this code"
pictureBox1.Image = new Bitmap("\\Program Files\\pic\\screen.Bmp");
}
i getting "Exception" int he last line
it is not telling what is the exception just Exception

well first thing I see is that the two file paths are not the same, if that not the problem can you confirm that a Bitmap is successfully created opening it manually?

you say you don't get an error message. is that because you are handling the catch yourself? either add a messages box showing the exceptions message. Or remove the try catch and let the system give you an error message. maybe that will help

the exception is caught in the line
picturebox.image=new bitmap(fs)
where fs is filestream
