In .Net 1.1, you should rather use the System.Web.Mail.MailMessage do send email.

Hi,
I am Loading data to Treeview control.
When am selectionnode changes , the text of the node should copied to one TextBox its done from JAvascript. But The problem is The TextBox is REadonly so i cannot able to copy the selected node to the textbox. Is there Any way to copy??????

I dont see any problem in assigning the value to readonly textbox through javascript. D'Oh! | :doh:

Hi,

Javascript:

function Fun(event)
{
var obj = event.srcElement || event.target ;
var seltreeNode = obj;
textbox.value = seltreeNode.innerHTML;
}

CodeBehind:

treeview.attribure.add("onclick","Fun(event)")

So the Selected Node is copied to the Textbox sucessfully. But if the textbox is readonly=true or Enabled=false i cannot copy the selected node to the TExtbox. How to REsolve this problem.
I think now u will get clarified...

That is different textbox on the same page...but it is reoadonly=true/Enabled=false.

Shouldn't you do:

document.getElementById("textbox").value = seltreeNode.innerHTML;

This is your Server Side Control I Guess.
So first you need to read the Client ID and then read the Value From It.

var textBoxID="<%=textBox.ClientID%>";
var textBoxValue=document.getElementById(textBoxID);

Note : If the Textbox is server side control and you have make it ReadOnly, It will not send value to server while Postback. Smile | :)

i have two list box when i move list item from one list to another list using javascript i don't get destination list box item in server side.

so i have using IPostBackDataHandler interface that have one method LoadPostData method which return postcollection of item.

so can you please let me know how it possible that method return destination list item array

Hi Friends,

I need a help.In my application i set the connectionstrings and all settings in webconfig file.But anyone can edit teh webconfig.Is there any option to protect the webconfig editing in .net application as in access database.If anyone tries to edit the webconfig ask username and password.If the entered username and password is correct only the user have to edit the whole webconfig.

Send some queries to solve it.Because after publishing alos if anyone tries he can simply edit the webconfig.So i think in this way.

Does he has access to the server in which your application is hosted ?

Its impossible to access the web config and machine config file from browser...

Not from the browser sir.If anyone open the config file in the application ask username and password first and if both are correct only he can edit the config files in the application.
