Greetings:
If you're an experienced programmer, Mark Pilgrim's Dive Into Python is an excellent introduction to the language. The printed edition is from APress, and can be easily found on-line and through book retailers. However, since the book was written and released under the GNU Free Documentation License, the book in its entirety is available in a variety of electronic formats, including PDF and HTML at http://diveintopython.org/[^].
If you have very little practical programming experience in other languages, Alan Gaud's Learn to Program Using Python: A Tutorial for Hobbyists, Self-Starters, and All Who Want to Learn the Art of Computer Programming from Addison-Wesley may be a good place to start. The author's web site, along with some of the material covered in his book, is available on-line at http://www.freenetpages.co.uk/hp/alan.gauld/[^].
I hope this was of help...

'IronPython in Action' gives a good introduction to Python as well as using it with .NET.

Hi,
I am doing a project in which I have to calculate the distance between two points. One point is fixed. Maximum Height of a building is to be calculated on the base of this distance ( a builder can built a building below this height). These points are defined by their longitude and latitude. Differnt height formulas are applied for differnt areas. Using PHP I can calculate the height of buildings that are in circles but the problem starts when the building is in funnel area. How can i define that funnel area in my script? Is there any other solution? What should i do? What is logic behind it? SOS PLZ.
Note: i do not have the co ordinates of funnel.
{
In fact this all area is around an Air Port. Something like this...

I don't like demands, and I'm sure others don't like them either.
$a = 1.8;
$b = 2.23;
$c = $a * (1 + ($b / 100));

stdClass Object ( [return] => Array ( [0] => test [1] => test23 ) )
Hi, how do i get the value of each array slots and print it nicely into a table form?
I did a print_r and get the above. Below is my code
$wsdl="http://localhost:8084/WebService/SMSWebService?wsdl";
$client=new soapclient('http://localhost:8084/WebService/SMSWebService?wsdl');
$response =$client->RetrieveSMS( array('username'=>'usa',
'password'=>'canada',
'keyword'=>'Temp'
));
print_r($response);

Why doesn't it return me "Good condition. Assembled in ---------" for "Extra" group? This group is
actually optional; that's why I marked it with {0,1}. And if I remove {0,1} the regex returns me it's expected value but only in this particular case.
What's wrong to my regex?

No idea what the answer to the question is, however....
Don't use a regex in an attempt to parse html/xml. Instead use a parser. Such parsers already exist and have an extensive history.
At best regex solutions can only work if all of the following are true
1. The source is machine generated
2. The source is limited to a single source (or perhaps two.)
3. There is no chance that any other source will ever be used.
If the above are not all true then the result will be one of the following
1. Over time one will end up with a full functioning parser (which would have been the case if one started with one in the first place.)
2. Over time one will end up with a hideous unmanagable mess of code that must be replaced - probably with a parser.
