thanks, it is a good article, but I found difficulty in using it in my case:
my applicaiton is that I display the images in a imagefiled of a gridview, from a database, just like your article did.
so I have no idea how to use this code in my case, do you have any idea?

You have to bind all those javascript methods on the Rowdatabound of the gridview. I will ask you to put your query on that article discussion board if you need any help or facing any difficulties . Hope Abhishek ( Author of that article ) will reply you as soon as possible.

thanks, anyway, I use another method by using template instead of the imagefield, then I can directly change the image size with mouseover.

What is the access Specifier of that class ? You have to make it public, by default it is Internal.

Do you want to minimize the page size ? or what ?
Seraph_summer wrote: how to make the webpage displays in the center of a screen?
You have to use Top-Margin and Left-Margin of Body.
Thanks !

I mean many websites have been limited its page size in order to compatible for old smaller monitor size.
I see I can use margin plus the screen size in order to make the whole page in the center of the screen, I know that I can use javascript code to get the current screen size, but I do not how to combine the css and the javascript to control this, i.e. how can i embed the javascript function into css style? can you give me one example?
thank you!

Which date format do you need dd-MM-yyyy or dd/MM/yyyy
You wrote in subject that you need dd-MM-yyyy and in your question you want this format dd/MM/yyyy

The ideal solution is to fix your crappy database design. If you stored dates in a date format, you could read them into a datetime and then format them any way you wanted.
Otherwise, you may have to do some string mashing to get the result you want.

Why you have to do this from asp code when you can do this from database if it comes from database
Use the below example.
just replace getdate() with your parameter
SELECT convert(varchar, getdate(), 103) – dd/mm/yyyy
SELECT convert(varchar, getdate(), 101) - mm/dd/yyyy
But the same thing you can do from you code this way.
DateTime todydate = new DateTime();
date.ToString("dd/mm/yyyy");
date.ToString("mm/dd/yyyy");

if (FileUpload1.HasFile == true)
{
FileUpload1.SaveAs(Server.MapPath("~/AdminSection/Attachment/"+FileUpload1.FileName.ToString()));
}
hi,
anybody knows, what may be the possibility by which this condition alwz return false.
|
|
|
|
|
In your case are you using AJAX? If yes then FileUpload1.HasFile return always false.
