i have a site. i wrote this site before using html codes and i published it in httpdocs directory. Now i wrote this site again by using Asp codes. i can not publish it. My main file is default.aspx. is there anybody who will help me?
So what do you mean by "i can not publish it"? Do you get an error message?
I guess the error message is saying that you are using Apache as webserver. As far as I know it is not possible to use ASP.NET with an Apache webserver (except the Mono way, maybe).

you can publish your website in visual studio by going in build menu and there is an option for publish website, from there you can publish your website.

I need to set a perticular cell color. I know how to set the whole gridview background color or a row bkg color, but I dont know how to do it for a particular one...
GridView1.Rows[0].Cells[0].BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Red;
Hope this'll do the job.
You can do this!
For example:
protected void GridView1_RowDataBound(object sender, GridViewRowEventArgs e)
{
if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow)
{
e.Row.Cells[0].BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.Red;
}
}
I hope it can help you !

Hello every one i have a storeprocedure and i am calling it in my application but it gives an error.i am giving code here.
=================the error is============================
ERROR [42000] [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver][mysqld-5.1.30]You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'addloc2' at line 1

Why would your stored proc include a drop statement ? This looks messy to me, it certainly looks wrong.
The first intelligent thing to do, is to run the proc inside your DB, so you can check if the proc is broken, or the code is broken. The code looks OK to me.

Why dont you write a bit cleaner ?
OdbcConnection con=new OdbcConnection(connectionstring);
cmd=new OdbcCommand ("addloc2",con);
cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
OdbcParameter pLoc = new OdbcParameter("_loc",OdbcType.VarChar);
pLoc.Value = "nagpur";
cmd.Parameters.Add(pLoc);
con.Open();
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
con.Close();

You may be binding the grid on page_load without checking IsPostBack .
