Please tell me what is the sequence of the calling of the following functions in an MFC application:
1. Constructor of the class that defines InitInstance
2. InitInstance
3. Constructor of the class that defines InitDialog
4. InitDialog
5. WinMain
Thanks

I'll tell you that the "WinMain" is held within MFC's CxxxxApp object.
The other questions you can answer for yourself.
1/ Make a shiny new dialog application.
2/ Go to all the places you are asking about, and put a breakpoint there.
3/ Get a pen and paper.
4/ Run the program, and take notes on the order things happen.
5/ Impress your friends and relatives with the exciting tale of how you enhanced your knowledge.
6/ Have a
7/ Repeat 6 - it's the most important step.

I love step 5 .

I am new to windows programming.
I want to know the detailed relationship between Application,
Dialog, View, Document, Frame etc containers and the sequence of these loading.
Can you please suggest me some reference for it.

You might consider getting a good book like "Programming Windows with MFC" from Jeff Prosise.

This should really be:
6. Have a beer
7. Goto 6.

Usually
5, 1, 2(, 3, 4).
steps 3, 4 aren't mandatory.
BTW You have a debugger, haven't you?

Hey, I was nice, polite, and taught him new skills!
I even encouraged him to get two beers. Other than involving Shrimps and Barbies, what could be more Australian-Nice?

Actually 'repeat step 6' means 'get beers until you're too drunk to follow the recipe' since from step 6 the natural flow reaches again step 7 (Carlo-VM). I really don't know if English-Swedish(-Italian?) alchoolic solutions are Australian-Nice...

Use DAO[^] to read from mdb files. and CFile[^] to write the data to the text file.
You need to google first, if you have "It's urgent please" mentioned in your question.

Hello AnShUmAn Thanks for reply..But can u expalin me in detail.
|
|
|
|
|
1. Open the Database and Text file
2. Read next record from Database
3. If end-of-file goto 6
4. Write record content to Text file
5. goto 2.
6. Close all files and terminate program

Ouch. You used the taboo word.
|
|
|
|

And here: 3. If end-of-file goto 6
But then any C[++ | #] coder can optimise that into a thing of beauty...
