The poll is about what type you are. Not whether or not you bother answering personality quizs on the net.

Hmmm...
I guess your signature spelling of "stupid" throws you out of the "Strong language skills, both speaking and writing" which all INFJ form a part of.
lol... (j/k)
Other than that, I have to agree... It is great to be in this category! Apparently only 1% of the population falls in it! *pats myself on the back*

I'm not so sure being in a small group is such a great honor. Don't know how things are in your part of the world, but in mine, axe-murderers are an even smaller group of the population - so I suppose they deserve even more back-pats. Possibly even an "atta-boy" is in order for them?

This is the third time I've taken the test, and I've gotten three different answers.
First time: maybe about 12 years ago, INTP
Second time: maybe about 6 years, INTJ
This time: took the test a couple months ago, INFJ
My officemate went on this kick and had a bunch of us at the office take the test, and we posted the results on our dry-erase board in our office.

Also had a couple of goes on this test, been INFJ every time. interesting however how time can have an influence on your personality. Choices and consequences I guess

Normally I think these personality profile things are garbage but in this case so much hits home with the ENTP type for me. Maybe it's different when you're filling them out for fun at speed than for a job interview (where everyone cheats mercilessly because the questions are very different than those ones and it's very clear what the "right" answer is for the job you're applying for).

ENTP too, but I still think that that particular test was rubbish.

Well an ENTP *would* say that wouldn't they!
Cheers fellow ENTP!

What is your job? Are you also programmers, or more like managers? The Boss? Other?
|
|
|
|
|
Well, I am better at managing then being managed, however I am EXCELLENT at taking an impossible task, and getting it to a place where it is manageable by one or two people (with little experience).
- my first "program" was an inventory management system for Mayo (yes THE Mayo Hospital).
- in Grad school I took on a programming project for my adviser in Organic Chemistry, and pumped out a patent(pending) (graphics).
the majority of what I've worked on would fall into the category of a version of scripting so that someone who has absolutely no idea of what goes on inside code, can set up a "functional" and do what it is that they are attempting to do.. trickiest issues I find are the ones where you aren't sure just how far you should dumb it down so that .. even a 3 yr old . . could use your program..
However I don't play well with others. And require little (like I will come to you if I have a question) management... Give me a set of minimum requirements maybe a brief description of what you want it to do and voila a couple of months later I will give you a full program(only polishing that needs to be done is commenting, and final deployment checks).. I don't comment unless it is so complex that I get lost, in which case I use minimal comments..... Minimal.
But I've decided I'm not really Academic material and so now I just work for myself..

I used to be an INTJ back in college and started out as a programmer, but am now a clear ENTJ. Moving into a BA/team lead role.
