No matter how hard you close your eyes and wish upon a star, javascript has nothing whatsoever to do with C#.

*sigh* I know. C# questions in the ASP.NET forum I can kind of get, some people have no idea what ASP.NET is, and think it's just .NET. But, javascript in the C# forum ?

Well, they've both got braces.

More stuff can be found by Googling "office interop c#". It's quite a challenge some times to think up the sort of words that Microsoft actually use

Hi,
How can i get the list of dhcp clients.
Tried using DhcpEnumSubnetClients() butwas not able to get that. The API return success but the DHCP_RESUME_HANDLE is always 0 and it didn't return any client.
cheers

Hi Ganesh!
Any success in getting the Subnet Clients? I'm also facing the same problem i.e; no error but I get 0 clients. I've used DhcpEnumSubnets and DhcpGetSubnetInfo successfully but DhcpEnumSubnetClients isn't returning me the results.
I'd really appreciate if you share the solution if you've got it working.
Thanks.

Hi
I am trying to use a propertygrid in my project, but I am facing an issue, where I need to get the collection of griditems, which are defined for my propertygrid in order to populate data within the propertygrid. As I see it you can get the selected Griditem, but not all griditems or ? Does anybody has an idea on how to get the collection ?
Many thanks in advance
Best regards
Jakob

Hi
For thoose interested the issue is solved. Use the selectedItem event on the propertygrid, which will give use a griditem object, this griditem object has a property called parent, which also is a griditem. From this parent griditem it is possible to get the GridItemCollection.

Hi,
I have a program called little registry cleaner. I currently have a bug in the program that is being a pain in the behind. I have had a couple of people using Windows XP that are saying the activex/com scanner is causing the program to suddenly crash and not display anything. I have searched all over msdn and google for a fix to this problem but I cant find anything nor am I able to reproduce it. It looks like its a stack overflow and is caused when it calls CLSIDFromProgID. I have included the crash log that I was able to obtain.
Bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/lilregcleaner/+bug/398648[^]

Thanks!

If the people who wrote this code will not fix it, how do you expect anyone here to do it?

I am the one who is trying to fix it... I was just wondering if this is a common problem and easy to be fixed.

Sorry, no idea; Google seems the only choice here.

You're not the first idiot to ask this, nor will you be the last. Here are the issues:
1 - if you can't think for yourself, how can you hope to write code ?
2 - if you can't think for yourself, how is it likely your experience is so broad that any topic we suggest will show of the strengths of your experience ?
3 - how is it that whatever we suggest will be something that's likely to be at the right level to impress your teachers ?
It's a dumb question. You know what you're good at ( if anything ) and you know what you've been taught. You're the one who should decide the best project to give you a good mark at the end

I think you should aim to write a system that is fully capable of passing the Turing test. Don't let people put you off by saying it's defeated the finest minds in the industry - keep at it, don't sleep, eat, attend lectures, interact with humans in any way until you've completed this task.
Good luck.
