You can very easily check in your code behind as:
if(txtBox.text.Length > 5){return false;}
and i think for javascript, you should try making that 8 to 5.

I'm so helpless,how to determine which radio button is selected?

Loveprogramer wrote: which radio button is selected
I think you should use SelectedItem.
For details please refer MSDN[^].
You can get the Selected Item Text using .
Label.Text = RadioButtonList1.SelectedItem.Text
In RadioButtonList1_SelectedIndexChanged methods you can check the selected item.

Hi!
Can some one help me on how to display an image as background picture from database using asp.net
You have to retrieve image from database in a byte array.
Search on google, you'll find many solutions.

Insert integer Value NULL when We Passing Empty string.
Also in sqlserver DataType of this Column is Integer.

That makes no sense. Consider reading the posting guidelines and rephrase your question.

What do you mean ? Is this also your site or some third party site ?

actual im selling some service and need to give client a link to click on to reach to my site. it is a third party site.

You can't change contents of other website programatically. All you can do is to provide a text that other website owner can copy and paste to their page. Something like
<a href="Yourwebsite.com?querystring=value">YourWebsite</a>

Hi All,
I want to build a image uploading websites in ASP.net. For every image I want to show number of views. (i.e. how many times a particular image is viewed).
Can anyone let me know how to perform image file view count for my application? Should I hit database update column on every image click event? Or any other best possible slandered solutions are available for this problem?
Thanks,
Bikash

I guess persisting in database would be the best method. You may need to record IP address as well to avoid counting requests from same user multiple times.
Navaneeth, Don't you think that It may causes the performance issue ?

Usually DB update operations are almost quick and performance impact will be negligible. I don't see any other method to persist the count.

So, let me put this in this way. I keep a list in session and each time when the user clicks on the image then it will check whether the image id already exists in the list or not (i.e. if image id exists then the image is previously viewed by the user in this session). If it doesn’t then update the view_count column in database. Is this the best possible way to count image viewed?
