Use
form2.Show()
instead of
form2.ShowDialog()
Hope this helps.

Yeah, he used the pretty PRE tags around his example.

much appreciated.
wish everyone would use them.

I only read code that is properly indented, and rendered in a non-proportional font; hint: use PRE tags in forum messages

Hi all,
I'm working on an application that create a file in a specified directory.
Code:
I want to create this file in a folder that was selected by the user, through FolderDialogBox.
The path is stored in TextBox1.
I want to do something like the below:
When I do the above I get the below error message:
A reference to a non-shared member requires an object reference.
Somebody help to find a solution.
Thanks in Advance.

First you need to read a basic programming book. Even if you removed the const, this would compile but not work. You need to remove the const AND set the value when the value of the textbox is set. You also need to give your variables real names, unless you're trying to write illegible code.

Thanks for your reply.
Have used
File.Move()
to attain my requirement.

That obviously works, but it doesn't help that you didn't understand that setting a variable as const to read the contents of a text box, would give you it's contents on startup ( empty probably )

Given that A, B , C and D are n x n matrices.
Write a console application to complete the following tasks:
Inputs the elements of matrix A and matrix B.
Output Matrix A and Matrix B
Output Matrix C = A + B
Output Martix D = A * B

You do realise that your teachers almost certainly google the text of the homework they give, so they can find lazy, good for nothing clowns like yourself, and fail you ?

So do you have a question to ask or are you just posting your homework hoping that some poor sucker will do it for you?

This has got to be the worst attempt to get someone else to do your homework that I've ever seen.

you forgot to specify a time frame. Is it urgent already, or can we wait a while?

You have no idea when sarcasm passes your way do you. Read the other posts and understand that no one here will do your homework for you. Try something and when you are stuck ask a specific question on what you have tried.

good.
you haven't shown any initiative, nor any code; so you should not get any help.
except for this, as I am in an exceptionally good mood right now; I picked a small part of your homework (the easiest part for sure).
Warning: I don't know much about VB.NET, and I didn't test it, however here it goes:
Dim N As Integer = 10
Dim A(N - 1, N - 1) As Integer
Dim B(N - 1, N - 1) As Integer
Dim C(N - 1, N - 1) As Integer
For I = 0 To N - 1
For J = 0 To N - 1
C(I, J) = A(I, J) + B(I, J)
Next
Next
PS: Don't bother asking me questions, it is your assignment, not mine.

Why would you do such a thing ? VB6 is obsolete and has been for a long, long time. It ALWAYS was a terrible excuse for a language. Why not use a real language ?
