Hi there,
Sir,
I want a code on selected index change event in javascript that will populate another ddl depending on selected value, hence to avoid server trip.
Thanx..

Well, you'd need to either use AJAX, or send every possible list of data for the second drop down list down to the client every time.

Use
OnChange="javascript:populateDdl();"
On populateDdl you can call server using AJAX, and parse the response and load it to the dropdown or anything on your logic.

It's a Java applet, or a stand alone app ? There's no way that ASP.NET can detect if Java is installed.

Is there any chance to show the live Video in the website, i want to show the live function in the website, is there any possibility for this.
|
|

Sure - the windows media player control can be hosted in IE and pointed to a video stream. None of your code will be ASP.NET as such, tho, it will just be generic web code.

can anyone tell me the best website for ASP.net tutorial as i'm a beginner in Asp.net and i'm getting lots of errors while debugging my project...

The best possible thing is to learn C# or VB.NET first, and to do that AND learn ASP.NET from a book.
If you're getting a lot of errors, then you should not HAVE a project, paid or otherwise. You should be doing basic exercises in a class or on your own, to learn.

How about this site... There are lots of basic articles on ASP.net. you will find them just searching on it.
Read basic articles first and then try out creating your website. If you still face problems ( such as compile issue) try to read the error message carefully and try to find out where the problem might be.. Still have problems, let us know. We will guide you in right direction.

What exactly the problem is. I cant get it properly.
Basically, you need to add textboxes for each values. After the input from the user, calculate the total amount based on the value passed by the user.
Do you want to break up an amount into these denominations ??
