I am using MS-ACCESS with ASP.NET & C#.
To maintain the session my code is.
if (ds.Tables[0].Rows.Count > 0)
{
Session["SUBSCRIBER_USERNAME"] = Login1.UserName;
Session["SUBSCRIBER_PASSWORD"] = Login1.Password;
}
else
{
Response.Redirect("index.aspx");
}
I have 3 other pages in my web application.
I have a logout button on all the 3 pages onwhich I want to apply logout coding. How can it be done?
Please help.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
My problem is that:
I am maintaining session only in first page(login page).
How can I maintain it in other pages?
Plz help..

you can use a label and maintain the user in that label.... or if you dont want to show the user to others you can maintain it via hiddenfield or some string........

You Can Use Many Number of ways..!
Session.RemoveAll();
Session.Abandon();

Hi,
you can use a master page and put your logout button in the master page's header.
The session remove: Session.RemoveAll(); or Session.Abandon();

Hi to All,
I am trying to create a Forum, same like this forum, ie codeproject...
I am planning to have an gridView, and collapsible panels on it. (thats what i felt looking at this forum)...
Now, I need to draw the gridView hierarchically, ie I need to have some space on the grid before I draw the collapsible panel.
I am a begineer, and I am not getting any idea how to do it...Please give me some hints, or may be any other method to do the same.
Thanks in advance

Draw your custom html using Repeater or ListView. Grids generates Tabular look.
Use Javascript to collapse and expand sections.

Its look like permission related problem,
Check your folder and file's permission.

Interop services requires component to be installed in the machine where it is calling. Does your server have Microsoft office installed ??
Also are you working on asp.net and calling Interop.Word?

As someone said, this is a permissions error. And, it plainly is, it says so in the exception. I suggest you read my article on how to use google. If you followed the advice in that article and googled the error, you'd have found this[^].

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. The exception says it's a permissions issue, so you've plainly not fixed it. You realise the ASP.NET process runs under the ASPNET account, not the one you logged in as ?

Well, according to google, everyone here, and the text of your error message, you have a permissions issue.
