Open the comand prompt (Start -> Run and then type cmd)
In the comand prompt, navigate to this path : C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 with this command:
cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
(Imusing v2.0.50727 in this example, but it would depend on you framework version)
Once there, run the aspnet_regiis -i command

To execute aspnet_regiis.exe -i cmd you will need to go to .NET framework home directory which will somewhere in the root directory of your OS. In fact you can locate the directory by even doing a search for a file aspnet_regiis.exe. Hope that helps

So what is your problem then? Write an application that reads the image captured by webcam and compares it with the image in the database. You don't know how to start[^]or are you stuck at somewhere?

Why do you have this task, if you have no idea how to start it ? Who are you writing it for ? How do you want to compare the image ? You want to capture an image from a webcam, over a website ?

I think there is no option in browser to get webcam data easily. See you need to grab only one Image from the browser. So I think the best way is to create a windows application that captures the Image data from Webcam and send it to the server for match.

I wonder how hard will be to develop a software that compeares 2 images and tells you if they are images of the same thing, assuming that images will be taken from a webcam or a digital camera
As i understand, the same exact image wont be used to make the comparision

Yes, the whole thing is ridiculous. It's plainly another case of a cluessless outsource worker agreeing to whatever a clueless client asks for, then asking us to do the work.

Hi vijay. I notice you asked a question then ignored the people trying to answer you. Let me explain a few things.
1 - programming is a four year course
2 - after four years, I wouldn't expect too many students to be able to do the complex image processing task you're asking about here
3 - I would expect anyone who wanted to do this, to know enough about computers and programming to understand that ASP.NET can't possibly, ever, control a webcam on the client.
I suggest you get back to your client, tell them you are a liar, and if you want to be a programmer one day, sign up for a course instead of hoping we'll do all the work for you.

Place a Reset button on the form using
<Input type="Reset" />
Or you can also do :
javascript:document.form1.reset();
to clear all data at a time without postback...
Form1 indicates the name of the form created.

No you don't need to sent the screen shot of your aspx page. Just tell what is your problem?
I don't think anyone will take a look at the page but yeah if you still want to show us the error screen use this[^] site.

hello,
I want to restrict user to access my site if his Caps Lock Key is Off, so i need to check caps lock status whether he presses a-z,A-Z,or 0-9 keys in asp.net code.
i have tried following code which is working on Local but not on Server
if (Console.CapsLock)
{
lbl.Text="Caps is on";
}
thanks

It is clearly understood that you have no idea about web applications. ASP.NET can't check the keyboard's caps lock status. If you have a text box, hook a JS OnKeyPress event and check the ASCII values of the key pressed. This will give you the typed letters case. But still you will not get the caps lock status.
This should be the best question posted in ASP.NET forums this week.
Best wishes,
Navaneeth
