OK, so this is for a class ? Or you're just teaching yourself at work ?
You've added link buttons, why do you expect them to show images ? What have you done to make that work ?

This is the ASP.NET forum, this looks like asp. asp has been obsolete for 7 years, why are you using it ? I recommend the web development forum for asp questions.

Well, your code above refers to Keyword11, whereas the code below refers to Keyword1... perhaps there's a typo in one or the other?

How can I retrieve 1700 or more rows of data from SQL server to a Classic ASP page in an Efficient way?
I have a management royality report which uses multi-dimensional arrays, but the script is very slow it takes 4 to 5 minuts to load.
Can someone suggest a best practice for this problem.
Thank you.

By not displaying 1700 rows of data on a single page.

Ensure you are letting SQL Server do the data work for you, and only display a small portion of it at a time.

This is the ASP.NET forum. As Damian said, the best practice is to design your page to be sane, but either way, this is the ASP.NET forum.

You need to do several things.
1 - the user needs to select an image
2 - the user needs to push the button
3 - the page needs to post back
4 - you need to save the image somewhere
5 - you need to send the page back with the source of the image control being set to where-ever you saved the image.
You can save it in the file system, under the application root ( use Server.MapPath to find the file system equivalent ), or to a database, and then you'd need to write a page which returns the bytes of the image and the correct MIME type, taking the id of an image on the URL, and set the control to that.

You are an idiot. You asked how to do something very trivial, I explained it, then you demanded I give you source code. If this is homework, you need to understand it in order to learn. I was trying to help you to understand the problem.

I hope this is the right area, but I was working on this project and I'm a little stuck and wanted to know if I get can some help. We have a page in our site that we just added that allows some of our customers to add new users to their programs by filling out a form and submitting it, all of the fields are saved in a Database and used to create the agent record and fill out those fields in there. But before the agent can be added there is a four part review that needs to take place and within each step there's different options for approval/decline/more information. Here's my problem, or where I'm stuck:
How to you get a table to have it's own buttons that correspond to each row of a database. If I use the GridView I'm stuck using only the buttons they allow (such as the Edit button and Delete button) but I wanted to have a View button that would either open a PDF File or Pop Up window displaying all of the information entered on the form that's stored in a Database. I would also want a button that could be used to either Approve (which would update the Status field in the Database to the next step) or Decline (which will allow the reviewer to enter a message that can be seen in the Notes section of the Table and Database).
I was thinking that maybe a JavaScript type table could be used, this way the table can expand to show the documents if they click a button and there may be a time where supporting documents could be added to a user but I don't know how that will play into the design of this area. I don't know if I'm looking in the right area or if I should be looking at something else, since I've been having trouble with the Gridview in Visual Studio 2005, or maybe it is possible and I just don't know how to set it up correctly. Thanks.

I believe what you are asking for can be done, however, it will require some coding on your part and you won't be able to use the Drag and Drop functionality of the Gridview.
What you want to research is building your Gridview at run time instead of design time.
This means that you will need to dynamically add controls to the basic Gridview control based on the columns that you are attempting to bind to that control.
I don't have an example on hand, but I've seen it done before. Search around for Gridview and Dynamic columns or controls.
Good luck.

Thanks, I'll take a look around for controlling a Grid View Dynamically. I knew there was a way I just couldn't think of how it's done.
