That's a bold statement.

Please go through the instructions about how to ask a question [^].

Besides the fact that this is a terribly worded question (was there a question at all in your post?) you don't even need to write a program to convert text to braille. Simply download a braille font and make the text use that font.
If you absolutely think it's necessary to write a program to do this, then look at the section "Unicode rendering table" in the wikipedia article on braille.

below is C++ code
jmethodID mid;j
class cls = env->FindClass( "test/MyTest");
mid = env->GetMethodID(cls, "append","(Ljava/lang/String;I)Ljava/lang/String;");
mid=env->GetMethodID(cls,"HelloWord","()Ljava/lang/String;");
below is display by javap
public test.MyTest(java.lang.String);
Signature: (Ljava/lang/String;)V
public java.lang.String HelloWord();
Signature: ()Ljava/lang/String;
public java.lang.String append(java.lang.String, int);
Signature: (Ljava/lang/String;I)Ljava/lang/String;
below is java code:
public String HelloWord()
{ System.out.println("JAVA-CLASS:MyTest method:HelloWord:" +helloword);
return helloword;}
public String append(String str, int i) { return str + i; }
notice: the class has been found successfully, and the construct function <init> 's id is not return 0
question:why the other methods’s id always return 0??

I have tried this and, without seeing all your code, have made a few educated guesses. In my tests I am able to get the mid for both methods and also to call those methods. Have you run this through the C debugger to verify that all other values are correct?

Hi,
I have a chart object which draws itself on a DC. I would like to be able to 'print' the chart to a PDF file using the excellent Haru HPDF library. Has anyone any suggestions on how I could do this?
I guess I could add a draw function to my class which takes a pdf page instead of a DC but is there an easier way?

I think Haru PDF lib has some examples codes with it. Did you checked that.
I liked HPDF lib very useful and simple.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I did look through the code examples but couldnt find anything which would give me a device context to draw on. Which example did you have in mind?
I thought I might be able to create a DC, draw on it, then copy the DC to a bitmap but HPDF doesnt appear to support bitmap format.
Maybe I could write a HPDF_DC class which provides the methods of the CDC class but transforms them into a HPDF_Page but that is a big job - some other time maybe.
Anyone have any easy solutions?
Thanks
Tony

Hi,
This is my first post on these fourms, so I'll probably screw up something!
Anyway, I'm trying to write a program which interfaces with a third party dll. All I have is the dll. The dll contains a typelib. To start with, I created a Win Console32 app and am compiling using the /CLR trigger. I added the dll as a reference and placed it in the same folder. I can use intelisense to see all of the classes and interfaces. Here is my code:
#include "stdafx.h"
#include "objbase.h"
using namespace xTInstrument;
int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[])
{
xTInstrument::GisClass^ Gis = gcnew xTInstrument::GisClass();
return 0;
}
I know for a fact the functions are declared as "Friend" in the orginal dll. The dll I am using is the Interop created by Visual Studio. Can anybody help me?
Cheers,
Shivels

with the statement
#import "XYZ.dll"
you get the tlb imported.
Press F1 for help or google it.

Hi,
I tried using
#import "libxtinstrument.dll" no_namespace rename("Getbject", "xtGetObject")
but when I do, I get 300 errors all of the same 3 types:
error C2504:'XYZ' base class undefined
error C2146: syntax error : missing ';' before identifier 'XYZ'
error C4430: missing type specifier - int assumed. Note: C++ does not support default-int
Without have .h or .lib file, how can I fix these errors?

is it only a typo "GetObjecT"
#import "libxtinstrument.dll" no_namespace rename("Getbject", "xtGetObject")
the XYZ class will you need. Google for it

I was able to call the functions stored in the dll, but the program keeps failing. Turns out the Class I am trying to call is a "non-creatable" class. How can I find the main "factory" of these classes using ole/com object viewer?
|
|
|

Search in the Registry for the GUIDs of the classes
Press F1 for help or google it.

Hi, the GUIDS don't show up in the regisrty. Using OLE/COM viewer, the typelib lists the classes as "coclass non-creatable" This looks like the factory model design. Is there a way to locate the "factory" which is responsible for creating the objects?

Hey
I am working on a Windows application using Win32 API's and this application
has got its own formatted Error messages and so we want to prevent any generic
Windows messages to pop up.
It was found that in certain extreme or rare conditions its does pop up
the Windows messages.
Is there a way to completely suppress the Windows error messages?
Thanks in advance
|
|
|
|
|
Which error messqge ? You mean that your program crashes and thus displays an error ? I think in that case fixing your application is probably your best option
|
|
|
|
|
It's not an application crash message.
The couple of error messages that are being seen are
"Delayed Write Failed" & "Invalid Date & Time".
Anyway to supress these and other probbale Windows messages?
|
|
|
|
|
After the error dialog, does your application continue to run? And do you know which is the API call that is causing this error?

Hallo Code Project Members,
I`m Using Visual C++ 6 with Prof-Uis. From Prof-Uis tutorials I declared a class like this:
class CMyClass : public CExtNCW < CExtResizableDialog >
It works fine, but I don`t know what I`m doing. Why do I derive CMyClass from 2 classes? What is the difference between
public CExtResizableDialog
and
public CExtNCW < CExtResizableDialog >
Because I don`t know what this kind of Deriving is called, it is difficult to find tutorials about it..
Thank you for your answers!

CExtNCW is a template class.
Read more about it here - C++ Class Templates[^]
There are several template libraries available like ATL, STL etc.
|
|
|
|
|
CExtNCW is a template class and CExtResizableDialog is the template parameter. You are only inheriting from one class (the CExtNCW class) but as this class is a template class, you have to specify it's template parameter. I suggest you google for templates in C++ because you first need to understand how it works before being able to understand what the code means.
