If you search through the articles here on the Code Project site, you will find quite a few that show you how to write your own custom button. I had a quick look to see if anyone had come up with an equivalent to Java's JButton support for HTML in the button caption, something like
<b>2010-02-16</b> 10:00-11:00
but I couldn't see anything. That's probably a bit harder than it first appears to get all the relevant HTML tags covered (bold, font family, font colour, italic, etc.), but it should be possible to use some of the articles to build your own custom button to get the effect you're after if you know in advance what limited functionality you want to support. You don't have to use HTML tags, that's just a starting thought; go with whatever is the easiest answer for your needs.

Bit more specifics required e.g. Webserver? IIS/Apache; technologies? e.g. ASP.Net, PHP
If it is ASP.Net then there is functionality built into the site authentication functions to do this sort of thing.

Ok, i have re-read your question serveral times now, and I am thinking your are on about client side using webbrowser control?
1) You have an application using the WebBrowser Control?
2) You navigate to a website, but it requires authentication?
3) It normally throws up a popup with the login prompt, whilst the initial page is redirected to the site entry page?

Your web server logs will give your the information, use that for the statistics.

its a windows application, and the xml file is shared with many other services so the request statistics wont be good

You could;
1) modify your app to pop in a custom header to the request, and then you could use the log files to track the custom header
2) have your app generates a unique installation id, and send that to a web service that logs the instance.
3) get your users to register
4) Have your app go through an intermediate web service, which then gets the xml and passes it back to your app.
5) dream up some of your own mechanisms for generating unique installations and tracking.

First, this is the VB.NET forum, not C#.
Second, ASP.NET is a technology that generates web pages, it's not a language. C# is a language.
You'll have to confirm this with your teacher, but I think yo have to convert what you see in the ASP.NET app to a Windows Forms app, using C#.

I would like to ask if how will do I change the recordsource of crystal report in
vb 6.0 .For example I will show only the records that is filtered by my datepicker.
Below here is my datepicker select between query:

Thats the way to do in vb6 , you can also Use Selection Formula in Crystal Report and Pass the Values to report and Enter the Selection Formula in Crystal Report then it will select only those records. but this will be slow as we are giving the whole data to Crystal Report then its Filtering , better is to give the Crystal Report the Filtered data only
In vb.net it depends how you are connecting to the DB , their are so many waysBest Regards,

By the way the crystal report version I have is 8.5
In vb.net I have used OLEDB connection to connect in my database and
my database is MS ACCESS 2003.

VB6 :
Open Report in Crystal Report ===> go to Reports menu ===>Select Expert ==> click on Show formula button and put your filter their like
{tabke.field} = {@FormulaField}
you can create a formula field from Insert ==? Field Object menu thne create New Formula Field here and then Pass in your VB Application the value to it

just remove date from datedate and in (Field) enter name of your date time picker or control name
thats all , if you have more then one fields in crystal reports then formulas(n) counter will increase like

I have tried these commands but still I have error and it says
"Remaining text does not appear to be a part of the formula"

DTpikcer2 - datepicker I use to filter( to this Date)
filteringDate - the name of my formula

Hi,
Currently I'm working on a Smart Device project in VB.NET (in Visual Studio 2008) and I found a project on the net in C# which fits to my needs so I added to my solution as a class library.
So right now I have a solution with a VB project and a C# project (class library).
In the C# I have a part like this:
namespace Something

public class SomeList : SomeListControl
{
public event EventHandler SiteReached;
public event EventHandler SiteOpened;
public event EventHandler<ListEventArgs> ListOpened;
...
This namespace is included in my VB project as a Reference.

'In the C# project the following code was implemented:
