Nope, it isnt. Simple to verfiy - just check the number of females. Any dating site has at least dozen good looking singles that are always available. Not so on CP. Thats proof enough

1-4 articles posted = Bronze. 5-14 articles = Silver. 15-24 articles = Gold. 25+ articles = Platinum. Each 500 messages posted adds one level, and if a user has posted a message then each year of membership adds 1 level. Bonus levels not valid for Gold members. What is a "Bonus level"?
Now I am wondering, I have posted 5-14 articles, am member since 2 years+, and have posted more than 500 messages.
Why I am Gold? I know this has for sure been explained a hundred times, but I missed it

(5 - 14 articles = Silver) + (500 messages) = Gold
Simple as that.

But what about those "Bonus levels" mentioned? I dont think that is some kind of shoot-em-up level where you can just kill all that comes up??

The problem with the message bords, is that it just takes about 4 hours (on vc++) before the question is gone - to the next page.
Even if you didn't get an answer. The solution is to write the same question again, and again crowding the messageboard.
Can't the threads be marked with 'completion' or 'satisfacrory response'
for later filtering?
Perhaps setting the standard amount of trheads to 50 instead of 25 would help?

That would be a good idea...
Perhaps at the top of each forum there could be something similar to "Question Time" in the lounge where any questions from the last day that hadn't been marked as "completed" could be displayed in a round robin fashion. Maybe they wouldn't even have to be marked as completed... just basically show the thread titles in the "Previous Questions" box.

Setting the standard to 50 would slow down the site considerable for people on dialup or other slow connections.

Instead of puttihng as completed or to-b-completed.... why not they grouped under the question... like the directories displayed in thge windows???... So that the user sees only the questions in the page, and scrolls IN to see the answers??

If A starts a thread and B answers it.
The A login could mark the thread completed or answered sucessfully.

Well it is working, but for me (and I've tried this now on two different machines) it pops up two windows instead of the one it used to.
