Go to Google and start typing "vb.net threading". You'll see lots of other search suggestions. This is a topic that has been written about countless times.

In MFC application
When i am Inserting a value in List Then I want same value to Add in my Data Grid in VB.Net Application.
So I want to attach both application.
Note : (I have all Source of Both Application.)If you can think then I Can.

That depends on the interface your MFC app is exposing, or expects to use, to transfer the data.

Sorry but i do't think the meaning of your syntence.
Can you explain with any example??If you can think then I Can.

If you have the source code for the MFC app, then you can alter it to provide some common interface to communicate between the two apps.
If you do NOT have the source code for the MFC app, then you're going to have to find out what interface it exposes for this communication, if any. If there is no interface, you've not going to be able to do what you want.

The simplest thing to do is create your own message form that you display the message you want to show the user and then after a period of time, it closes itself.
Alternatively, use system balloon notifications

noh i dont even want to show msgbox to user but that specific routine works only if msgbox is prompted or in dubug mode , added a form and made my msgbox but Best Regards,

Ok, let me see if I understand this...
You're running some block of code through a timer, but this code only works if you have it pop up a message box?
I think you need to solve that problem, instead of just working around it. What code are you trying to run?
|
|
|
|
|
it checks the data from database and send them email , works fine if user clicks ok or run in debug mode but on run time without message box does not do any thing Best Regards,

Think you need to post some code.
Sounds like a latency issue, the fact that you are using a message box or in debug, is giving the calls time to work.
Are you using async calls to the database and using appropriate callbacks? or are you running everything sync?
Code would help understand problem more..........
|
|
|
|
|
The code is straight fwd i am not at work right now so i cant
it just checks the current time if hour is equal to the queried hour from the DB(sql server) then it sends email. everything is Synch.Best Regards,

Without seeing the code, it's kind of impossible to tell you why it's screwing up.
Is this code running on a seperate thread?
|

thanks but is it possible to handle messagebox like click ok within application as we use send keys for other applications.
The code is straight fwd i am not at work right now so i cant
it just checks the current time if hour is equal to the queried hour from the DB(sql server) then it sends email.Best Regards,

OK, you've not getting it. Using a message box is not a proper solution to your problem.
You've obviously got a problem with the code, and that it can be corrected, but you, for some reason, haven't shown us the code. Using the message box is not a solution that anyone is going to support you with.

Yes Dave i respect your words , i know there is some problem in that Part of the code , you are right but my question was to how automatically click ok button of message box with in application.
Again thanks for the Help , if i cld not solve that problem then i will definitely.Best Regards,

So either you want to know how to automatically click an OK button, or you want to know why your timer code is not working. Which is it?
If its the first, then when would you expect the button click to happen? when you display the message? If so, whats the point of displaying it as the use will never see it.
If its why your timer code isn't working, without seeing it nobody can tell you - you insist its simple code, which it probably is, but there must be something wrong or it would work. Have you actually started the timer? You state it checks the time on the server, is it simply missing it? i.e. you look for 10:00:00 but your timer fires at 10:00:01 or something similar?
Post your code for any further help.Bob

Hi,
I am using windows media player in .net and have two videos that i need to play at exactly the same time on separate players. These players are WMP and WMP2
These videos are exactly the same time limit. They are both 21.34 seconds long
I think the code went something like
If label1.visble = true then
WMP.url = ............ .wmv ' url of vide
WMP2.url= .......... .WMV
End if
This code does work up to a point and i would have copied and pasted it in, but i am on a different computer.
This works however this is a massive "lag" between one video starting up and the next.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get both videos starting at the same time on button click?
I didn't know if perhaps the videos could be preloaded so when the user does click the correct button the videos play straight away, and the videos don't take time loading
Many thanks
Dan

Using Media Players? It's not going to happen.
You'd have to play the videos yourself using DirectX DirectShow or some other technology.

You should convert your image to raw format or binary format then you can save it in table. If you can think then I Can.
