If I understand, when the user checks the box in one row that total will be used for the grand total. When they uncheck the box, the grand total will be the total of all rows?
You could handle this in JavaScript or with a postback. Which do you want to do?
I know the language. I've read a book. - _Madmatt

I don't know if anyone notices this but the a textbox with TextMode set to password has shorter width than a normal textbox even though they have the same width. In fact, they have the same size when in designer view of vs. But when I ran it using IE, the password box is shorter. I tried running it on firefox and it looks normal. It just looks odd when using controls such as a login control.

This could well be the feature of IE rendering engine/styles of it. Do you have any problem with that?
Not clear though.

As far as I can remember I haven't noticed this in .NET 1.x/2. I've not used password text boxes in .NET 3.x. I've also not tried password text boxes in IE 8.
Till .NET 2.0 and IE 7 I've not seen any difference.

|
|
Ofcourse I can live with it. It's just that when I use a login control, the username and password boxes doesnt line up.
|
|
|
|
|
you can always fix the width of UserName text Box and Password Text box in pixel using style or css,
even in your login control.

Hi,
This is from Chandrakanth. i have one problem. I am using Mater Page .
In that Master Page i have content Place Holder.
That alignment of Content place holder is located under the Div Tag, align as a right side and position is vertical.
My Question is when i click on the Left side of the div tag, that div tag sholud expand to lefthand side with width of 100% by showing all contenet.
Initiallt it will show only few items positined as a vertical.
can any one tell me how to go for that?

You need to write an onclick event of that div and you need to set top and left property to the nes pixel location. ( I guess this top and left property comes in style property collection of the control as display comes under style property collection )

Please check the following code which sets left and top hence you can see the code 'relocates' an existing div to 0,0 location of the browser.
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
function relocate()
{
var id=arguments[0];
var divObj =document.getElementById(id);
divObj.style.top = "0px";
divObj.style.left = "0px";
}
<form id="form1" runat="server">
<div style="background-color:Red;top:500px; left:500px; position:fixed;" id="div1" onclick="javascript:relocate(this.id)">sample</div>
</form>
Hope it helps you,
Thanks,
