Three options I can think of
1. Make the code sniffer super amazingly foolproof smart.
2. Remove it altogether
3. Have a javascript popup when it thinks it detects code with a "This looks like code. Is it?" prompt

I'm sure that whatever you decide on won't be enough for some people.
Another solution is to have someone visit the user and slap them in the back of the head when they're about to do something stupid.

We're actually hoping HTML5 / CSS3.0 will provide a little more flexibility in this area. You know how it'll be though: it'll work fine in IE8, completely fail in Chrome and in Firefox it'll slap the person next to them instead.
I hate this current lack of standards compliance, and the overall ambiguity of the standards in general.

It's gone to web hell now.
It seems there is some right dickheads out there trying to spam that sh*t.
But at least it was picked up.
Imagine some poor bugger sitting in an office and that flashed up.

The description of Organiser rep mentions that it is gained by oragnising and retagging content. However, it only mentions getting rep for upvoting or reporting articles, posts, etc.
Is there something I'm missing, or is this an out of date description, or is it something deeper than that? (A hidden plot by the hamsters, perhaps?)
Just something that struck me as odd..

Good question. I have a strong feeling down-voting is awarded too, but only for some; my best guess is you need a minimum of something, maybe silver Organiser or so. None of that is mentioned in the FAQ, but there is more that should be there and isn't.

Downvoting isn't awarded.

I recall Organiser points dropped suddenly (by more than 20% for several people), and IIRC you explained that as down-voting no longer being awarded points (the idea was voting is voting and deserves points, but no we don't want to award univoters); then the drop disappeared again, so I assumed down-voting points were back but not for everyone.
If not, what did happen during that temporary dip?
On a related note: when I up-vote a Q&A answer, the org point is there right away. When I up-vote a real top-level-but-1 answer to a real top-level question in a programming forum, I don't see an immediate org or other point, and I just don't know if there is a delayed one. Could you check and comment?

It's actually a pre-emptive description. Still working on the retagging part.

I guess this guy recently had one of his articles removed. Though his article article rating correctly shows the rating of his remaining article, his article count still shows as two.

The particular case is fixed.
Reason is under investigation fixed.
Thanks for reporting

Support for multithreading has had a massive overhaul in .NET 4.0.
With the upcoming public release, I expect there will be many articles about it - here's a new one:
Introducing .NET 4.0 Parallel Programming[^]
Also, the current section in "General Programming" is getting to be a bit of a mess with C++ and C# articles mixed together.
So, please could we have a new section especially for "Concurrent Software in .NET 4.0"?

Quite often users respond to answers by adding more answers but there is no way to receive an update when this happens. Other than continuing to view the answered question to check for follow-ups there is no one to see if the user has asked for additional help.
There are also questions where I may not have an answer but would like to know when there is one.
Perhaps adding the ability to get alerted when an answer is posted to a question would be a solution.

Definitely a popular request. It's in our queue and a high priority. One aspect is to build out a general subscription mechanism. WRT Quick Answer we're currently building a commenting system that will be attached to each answer (and question). So if a user posts a "comment" to your answer you will get notified.
