Yes of course just as you have said ...
Brij wrote:Better if you use ASP.NET validators that will validate at client side and server side as well
Yes validate before posting on client then
validate on server it must be this way.

Brij wrote: Dont understood why you need ajax?
It may be because he wants to validate something from server side data. As For Example : When he put User name in textbox and move focus out from the text box, he want to check that, the User name is already exist on DB or Not. This is very common scenarios for any registration form.

Hi,
I am using Filezilla Software for uploading web pages. Now I have domain name and their username and password. That uses by me and my friend. Now we want such method that any one changes these ftp username or password from hosting email will b send.
Is that possible through ASP.NET? If yes then How can I get the details?
Is there any other method for that?
Thanks

Although it is possible to get a notification when a password is changed it would need to be implemented by the hosting provide, not you.

I try to use it.
I know how to set up, how to initialize, etc.
but I encountered a strange problem.
I can't drag the selection of the code of i writed in the html file.
In the another html file,I copy code from Jcrop's demo, the drag is ok.
the code of I writed and the code of copied are same, I checked several times.
And the resize box Of the Crop selection is not display.
the "Jcrop.css" is referenced right.
Very strange. Why?
Here is the code:

Hi,
I have a requirment which goes as follows:
"all email should uses a txt file template to allow Subject and Body to be specified outside the code"
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks,
|
|
|
|
|

Create a TemplateManager Page which create templtes for body and Subjects of an email save it in to .txt format. You can do this using fckeditor control. Search google for this.
Then in Email Page for subject select a Template from Combo box and for body select a Template from body Combo.
This is the logic. If u need code just reply me...I hope this will help u..

If something this simple is giving you problems then you need to get a decent book to learn from. Its a basic of web page design (tip search for CSS). There are loads of books and tutorials available, just try google.

Hi all,
I am trying to migrate classic ASP application to ASP.Net 2.0 or above.
While Googling I have found Asp to Aspnet migration Assistant which will migrate to 1.1 framework.
Is there any tool which will help me to directly migrate classic ASP application to framework 2.0 or above?
Or is it the process like
1) ASP to ASP.Net 1.1 using the 'ASP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant'
2)Then ASP.Net 1.1 to ASP.Net 2.0 or above using the Visual studio upgradation Wizard.
Kindly advice.
Regards,
Rijz
