I deliberately ignored that aspect of the OP's question. Maybe when he's totally locked his test mobile he'll think again about his future in the hacking business.

I don't understand why behave like very rude, I wanted a litele help, thats all.
Firstly, I didn't ask a source code, it won't a nice request, I want ask for a very small code that gives me some example, for example make a code for open the system tab, etc.
Again, I'm not thinking about hacking or something for the future. I hope Giving more detail will erase the bad ideas in your mind against me:
* I'm not a windows mobile developer, I just know C# and Java very good.
* Last month I bought an LG Fathom, and I purchased many unlock code orders from different seller but the only answer I received is "the code was not found".
* Then I decided to make an unlocker application for my phone. I think you are wrong what you say here: "he'll think again about his future in the hacking business" because what I want to do will be only applicable for LG Fathom, because for example HTC phones doesn't have a unlock code tap as far as I know.
I really don't understand why you behave rude to me

And if you had followed the link I provided you would have found some help. Your question is somewat unclear, apart from the fact that you are trying to write some sort of hacking code to unlock a mobile phone and thereby bypass the security built into the device by the manufacturer. If this is not the case then you should try to make your questions clearer in the future.

You are right it seems like I want to do something illegal but unlocking a phone's SIM lock is not an illegal thing as far as I know. At least it is legal in USA and UK, am I wrong? If I'm wrong, then I will be very very sorry for starting this thread.
ALso for the link, I really searched in MSDN what I want, but I couldn't find a clear explanation about functions and comments for actions about Windows Mobile OS. Therefore I asked your help.

I gave you a general link in my first response, try here[^] for the specifics of Windows Mobile.

I have installed Visual Studio 2008 and Mobile 6 SDK. When I try to use basic controls in a Visual C# Smart Device Project using .Net Framework 3.5, I cannot access many of the simple classes of the standard controls. For example, with only this Form Load event:
private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Font mfont = new Font("Arial", 12);
}
I get
Error 1 'System.Drawing.Font' does not contain a constructor that takes '2' arguments
And any other System.Drawing classes are not found. Any of these controls work fine in a C# Windows Forms Application Project. Is this some simple Reference that has to be added to the Solution or are these Classes not really available in a Mobile 6 project. And why does a C++ Smart Device Project not even allow an application with visual Windows Forms Controls?

I am getting the same problem with the same setup. In addition:
- 'System.Windows.Forms.MainMenu' does not contain a constructor that takes '1' arguments
- 'System.Windows.Forms.MenuItem' does not contain a definition for 'Index'
- 'System.Windows.Forms.Menu.MenuItemCollection' does not contain a definition for 'AddRange'
etc...
My project was originally running successfully in vs2005/mobile 5sdk. The transferred project worked for a while, now I get 60 errors like this.
In the transition to the newer environment my code was automagically updated, as in
this.MainMenu1 = new System.Windows.Forms.MainMenu() became
this.MainMenu1 = new System.Windows.Forms.MainMenu(this.Components). This is ok in 3.5 as the constructor has new overloads, but not in 2.0.
It looks like maybe it is still referencing the wrong assemblies but for the life of me I can't find where.
Any ideas?

So I've got the design time Icons showing up successfully in the toolbox for a smart device project. When I drag and drop the control in a smart device project the default gear icon shows up for the control in the designer panel instead of the icon that is in the tool box. To make it more confusing this behavior only happens when the control is used on a machine other than the one it was compiled on. If I use it on the machine that it was compiled on all the icons show up correctly. Has anyone run into this before?
P.S. Right now I'm using the method of marking the icons as embedded resources, I've also tried the xmta route as well with the same results.

While this doesn't necessarily help with SharePoint 2007, have you looked a the improvements to support mobile devices in SharePoint 2010?
From the SharePoint Blog, the #5 improvement for SharePoint 2010 Sites:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sharepoint/archive/2009/10/19/sharepoint-2010.aspx[^]
SharePoint Mobile Access – We both improved the experience for mobile web browsers and are introducing a new SharePoint Workspace Mobile client so you can take Office content from SharePoint offline on a Windows Mobile device. These clients let you navigate lists and libraries, search content and people and even view and edit Office content within the Office Web App experience running on a mobile browser.

Do i need web service programming or client side or ... .

From your question it would seem that you are at a very early stage in your project; have you already looked here[^]?

Hello everyone!
I'm new on mobile development, so be gentle with me. I need some information about how to create a serial communication, like the way arduino is connected to computer, a serial protocol. I want to create an applet to communicate with a C# application, for data exchange.

It's hard to answer that without knowing about the hardware you are using. Are you using a Windoiws Mobile device? Some other Windows CE device? Perhaps a .Net Microframework device?
|
|
|
|
|
I'm using a Sony Ericsson w910i (not a smartphone). The purpose is to create a java applet for my phone, that enables it to comunicate with my laptop, through bluetooth. I searched online about this type of connection, but found nothing.

|
|
|
|
When I run Windows Explorer, I can search the phone and add and remove and move around files and such on its SD card. When I try to do it programmatically, however, it appears that there is no way to do it. Is there a way to tell a program to create a file or copy a file to a docked Windows Mobile 6.1 device from a program running on the Windows 7 desktop?

I have a class that I need to convert to a byte array for a Windows Mobile device. The byte array is sent using ssl to a server, which needs to rebuild the class. I have used BinaryFormatter on a PC client that worked great. However I can't use that with the compact framework. This is the code I am currently trying to use but its giving me the error message "Type 'PackageTrans' cannot be marshaled as an unmanaged structure; no meaningful size or offset can be computed.".
public byte[] ClassToBytearray(object obj)
{
int Length = Marshal.SizeOf(obj); <----------This is where I get the error.
byte[] bytearray = new byte[Length];
IntPtr ptr = Marshal.AllocHGlobal(Length);
Marshal.StructureToPtr(obj, ptr, false);
Marshal.Copy(ptr, bytearray, 0, Length);
Marshal.FreeHGlobal(ptr);
return bytearray;
}
This is my first time using Marshal. Why wouldn't a meaningful size or offset be computed? What is it that I am missing? Is there a different way I should be doing this? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Look into serialization, there are many options -> Binary, xml, soap, etc.

Hi Friends,
I am developing a Windows Mobile application using 6.0 professional SDK.
Here I am consuming a web service which is hosted on HTTPS.
I am able to add the web reference successfully but when I call a method of the service using proxy it throws following exception.
"Could not establish trust relationship with remote server."
The same scenario works fine if I test it with a desktop windows application. I am able to call the method successfully and I receive the response too, but I dont know why it is not working with Windows Mobile.
I am able to browse the websites from the mobile browser so there is no issue about the connection.
Please help me soon friends I m running out of time...I have search all over the world during last 2 days but could not find any satisfactory and working solution.
Thank you all in advance.
Thanks and Regards,
Chetan Ranpariya

The first thing I would check is the date and time on your Windows Phone. It it is wrong then SSL authentication will fail.
