It's a mugs game.
Yep, and that's really my concern here. There are many CP members who publish great articles, and they are the reason I joind and stayed with CP. On the other hand, there is a relatively small group that pretty much only participates in the Lounge and fills it with immature discussions that are unfortunatelly too visible and can give the wrong impression to the outsiders about the purpose and spirit of CodeProject.

I think this, more than anything, is what I take offense to. What outsiders? Who are these people, exactly? Why would I care what they think? Why would anyone care what someone else thinks? I really object to being told what I can and can't do or read or say. I haven't seen any jokes there that I would be offended by and, if I did, I would either vote 1 and say something or ignore it. You need to get off your high horse.

Hang on a sec: no one is saying what you can or can't say. The point is where you say it. I'm assuming you wouldn't tell an obscene joke to a nice old lady you met in a street, or swear like a trooper while having dinner with the parents of a potential girlfriend.
It's context and consideration. It's not about infringing on your rights.

Plainly, you've never been to dinner at my house or been around when I help old ladies across the street.
In any case it comes to the same thing: it's about what is considered offesive and what you can do about it. He just wants a broad brush stroke approach based on what he thinks may be offensive to a complete stranger that might happen upon the site whilst trying to pry into his life, whereas what we already have pretty much covers it.

Chris. Simmer down, you're in danger of losing your cool here:

Targeting perceived immaturity in others with an immature response yourself isn't exactly the best response. Subjectively I didn't think that the joke was not KSS; bad taste yes (but so is a lot of humour). Obviously my sense of humour is different to yours, but I thought that one of the best things about CP was its broad and relatively tolerant nature. If you think my response here is out of line, then feel free to downvote me, but I will not give up my rights to have a broad sense of humour.

Pete, I'm definitely not trying to infringe your rights to have a terrible sense of humour. My father, God bless 'im, has a sense of humour that would curdle milk, but I still love him and respect him dearly.
My only point was: not the lounge. That's all. It was not a comment on maturity, and if my asking you to respect pretty much the only forum on the site where I ask members to wear pants and otherwise not be offensive was taken as immature then I don't know what to say. However, if we ever cross paths I will buy you a pint and you can tell me why I'm wrong.

Hi,I can not print correctly in firefox. All the article's print result only include 3 pages. Please check it. Thanks.

I've checked, and I find that I can't print correctly from Firefox, either, because I'm using Opera.

And if you used Firefox, instead of Opera, would you then be able to print correctly in FireFox?

Are you printing the article in normal view, or are you clicking the 'print' icon and then printing that?

Yes, I do print the article by clicking the "print" icon on the top bar and then print to the printer. All the article's print result have 3 pages, first is empty, next is part of content, and last page is empty.

but in IE the operation is normal!!

(Sorry my english) (Firefox 3)
Neither normal view or "print preview" do not print correctly. Print only a 3 page:
First page: Only a (top left) "The code project" logo.
Second page: The content of article. (From vote bar (5 boxes, filled red from left), x / y, (x+y) votes.)
Third page is empty page.
