Aman,
You should first have a look at this page http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Types.aspx[^] which walks through the different types of membership available in CodeProject.
It explains fairly well on the responsibility of the task besides to an extent, the modus operandi adopted to select the members from the website's vast registration and participants.

Would it be possible to to keep the pinned messages when replying?
Like this you can easily quote from different messages.
|
|
|
|
|
You mean after you reply and then go back to the message list, the pinned messages are preserved?

I think he means what you call "in-line replying", which I wouldn't mind having...

I think its what luc said
Basically say you have pinned message and the first reply.
And when you hit reply on the first reply you get the message and the reply in the reply page so that you can easily quote from both the message and the reply.

I think I have a better solution to this problem.

No hint as to what this solution might be?

I was going to say "hedging my best", but yes - let's go with "Building up suspense" instead. Much better :P

Just posting to say how much I like the Daily Views panel. Good idea and to me at least, well implemented. But then what do I know?
Keep up the good work!

There is an Article in the list shown to me on the Home page that has now disappeared when I went to ensure I had the title correct.
So forget I mentioned it. Psssst, you haven't seen me! Alright!
This has now happened again. Is this a new feature?
What happens is that a new entry appears in my list of articles for approval, I click it only to get a page containing banner saying that this article is still being written.
If this is designed behaviour, I will ignore it, if not, perhaps someone could take a look. The most recent article to exhibit this behaviour is 'SQL Server Style Widcard Matching' by TFB_PLC.

Someone is using the C# forum as personal code dump (or something)
http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/3104437/aboutLogin.aspx[^]
And 2 messages before it.
I know we can use the 'vote to remove' button but at the rate he is posting it's going to get ugly fast
[EDIT]Hmmm never mind he seems to be cleaning his mess up himself [/EDIT]

Oh well, if he wants to do that there it's his own business I suppose... so long as he's not littering the forums.
He's learned how to use pre tags so he is making progress

The right side profile image shows a list of file names. I suspect he is trying to use CP as a vehicle to smuggle source code in/out of his organization surreptitiously and unscrupulously.

I suspect that this must be this cloud computing thingy we keep hearing about. Obviously he thinks this is a cloud version of VSS.

He may be correct.
In some companies, emails are scanned by the server programs handling it (also, access to public email services are denied), whereas one is perfectly free to do whatever, without having being eyed upon, on a trustworthy site like this.
OT - the "unable to post stuff" issue has been resolved. I have no idea what went wrong, but that *particular* message, I'm still unable to reply on. Is there a maximum number of posts permissible per thread?
