If for an option/opinion, I would like to have a AJAX search in my bookmarks and answers. That would be very helpful.

Hi, have they implemented this feature to export the bookmarks yet?
Whether I think I can, or think I can't, I am always bloody right!

There appears to be a problem with using the navigation links at the bottom of the Latest Updates page (the navigation links at the top of the page appear to be working OK).
On first selection of the page clicking on the Next link moves you to page 2 of the updates, although the page number at the bottom of the page still shows page 1. The First and Prev links are not clickable. Clicking on the Next link again does not move you onto page 3 - it merely reloads page 2.
If you move onto page 3 using the links at the top of the page and then click Next link at the bottom of the page you get returned to page 2
The Last link at the bottom of the page appears to work fine, although the page number is still displayed as 1, the First and Prev links are not clickable and the Next link is still clickable (and returns you back to page 2)
Using IE6 (sorry about that, not my choice )

1. Open IE 7
2. (Default Home Page)
3. Goto Code Project site in Favorites.
4. "Page Not Found" with the following URL
http://www.codeproject.com/script/common/ErrorInternal.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/script/Adm/ServeHTML.aspx
It happens everytime, but it does not happen if I type "http://www.codeproject.com" into the address bar (only happens with Code Project site in Favorites).

works for me.
maybe try this:
1. Open IE7
2. Renove from favorites: CodeProject
3. Browse to www.codeproject.com
4. Add favorite

Yes, it worked. That's strange, the link in the bookmark is exactly the same. Thanks anyway.

What URL do you have stored in your favourites?

http://www.codeproject.com/[^]
That's the URL. I have no idea why it worked after I deleted the bookmark and re-added it, following Luc's advice.

maybe it was worn-out and just needed replacing. Like the air in your tires, you have to renew that too.

My Dad loves asking the mechanics to change the air in his tyres every time he gets a service. 50 years he's been doing this and he still amuses himself.

I'm sure they will oblige (or at least pretend), and charge for it too. After all, the customer is king.

I was rather puzzled to see a rating score of 4.2 resulting from only 2 votes cast on this article[^]. I thought the average of 2 integers was always a multiple of 0.5. Is there a sort-of hidden weighting applied to the votes?

That makes sense. Thanks.

Looks like you can change other users comments. When I hovered over the comments of my own 'tip/trick'[^] I noticed the edit and delete icons... so I clicked on edit icon and the edit window popped up. I added the text "123" to the end of the comment from Marc Scheuner and to my surprise it worked. Perhaps you can also delete comments (didn't try).

I think it is reputation based, if you have the sufficient levels you can edit and delete, I can also edit and delete (have been able to for a while).

I can edit other peoples comments, write something under their identity, without leaving a trace? I hope this is a bug and not a feature.

I just edited one of your comments, the one about double posting, and added some dots to the end. And on the screen, it shows no evidence i have been there.
I think you get a notification via email to say someone modified your comment? not sure though....

Nope, no email notification, no special maker in my comments list (user profile page)... it's a perfect crime.

Quick take advantage of it before the hole is closed........

It was a feature, because we assumed that members of a certain rep level would not play silly buggers with others' comments and only edit / moderate those that required attention.
I guess we were wrong. I'll remove the access and go back to doing it manually. What a waste.

I think it would be fine to leave it, but add who last modified the comment at the end e.g.
Some comment.............by Frank (Last modified by: Bob)
and if the originator has notification active, send them an email saying their comment was modified. (same as if you modify someones question in the QAs)
