Don't. FWIW I think it is good, and judging by the voting, so do many others.
Why don't you try fixing it up a bit, make the images bigger (using gif or png rather than jpeg would make them nicer), move more stuff to the article from the blogs, etc
... and I don't think it is really fair to say "for no reason", everyone voting below 3 gave a reason (and John need not have given a reason, but did so anyway).

I was going to edit it a bit, but I'm a bit tied down right now. The images are a bit too big now, and you still have to address what John pointed out (I'm not really familiar with the finer points of LINQ, so you'll have to wait till he or someone else replies)
In the mean time, send me the originals (not JPG, whatever you captured it from. Word?). One of us will be editing it eventually anyway, so it might be helpful to have them.
(Upload them to the article in a zip and send me the link. Private email, don't post it publicly)
Not sure when I can get on it, so don't hold your breath...

There are many people who will give 1-votes with stupid or no reasons at all. So don't get let down by those. Keep up the work, in fact I found many more 5-votes than 1-votes for your article.

When you try to move the mouse over the voting popup, it goes away, preventing you from hovering over the bars to see how many votes of a given value have been cast.
Using IE8...
EDIT ===================
Either this has been fixed, or it works in FF.

It works better in FF. I'm using CSS, not javascript to show the popups and so I'm reliant on browser insecurities.

BTW, even with FF, this happens in Tips/Tricks.
Maybe you guys should convert CP over to Silverblight.

The discomfort quotient of an iUser with regards to CP doesn't concern me at all.

It's just a long page of unstyled basic html for me and has been for some time.
(Firefox latest vesion)
No where else on the site do I see this problem.

Which browser?
It's running via SSL so the stylesheets and images have to come down via SSL. Do you have any security settings that would be blocking these?
Would it be better for me to provide a non-SSL version for updating your details?

Firefox latest version. Perhaps it's just me or some kind of add-on I have running, I'll try it in another browser...

Huh, weird, I tried it in Opera and all pages were fine until I got to the my settings page which came up the same as in firefox but after a long delay suddenly "snapped" into proper style. I guess the style sheet is slow loading on that page or something.
In any case I guess it's just my browser for whatever reason.
Cheers!

That happens to me sometimes, even on the home page. More often when the site is slow. FF 3.6
(your prediction is probably the cause)

When a poster deletes a message from, say, the Lounge, that message gets the subject line "Message Removed". However, when you view their list of recent messages, the old title shows up. I'm thinking the recent messages page should show "Message Removed", just for consistency.
Also, I haven't tried it yet, but you might want to make sure that subject lines that are changed also get updated in recent messages.

I just noticed we now have two types of message status - [modified] and [modified again].
Interesting.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

If you correct / edit a CCC post twice, you'll have the entire CP community after you now!
