Was just going through recent published articles. Was really shocked to see this article[^] approved!
The shock is more of how other much better articles get strict reviews and delays in approval, where articles like these somehow slip in.

I'm not sure if this is the approver, but if you click the Revisions Tab it shows who the editor was.

Layout of Q & A (any page) just goes for a toss when opened in IE6. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that CP supports IE6 and above or something like. Can't recall it now to verify if this one is a bug or not.
Finally is not executed always. As told by Sir Pete and PiebaldConsult. Go figure.

Easy solution........Stop using IE6! you should know better than that

Tell that to people in my office.

IE 6 is not supported anymore by Microsoft...you can't even visit most of their tech sites anymore with that browswer. I had to upgrade. I think you might have to upgrade to IE 7 or better. This site, CP, is better viewed with any browser other than IE 6.

Not to mention there is no way to tell which file is currently being viewed (i.e., there are no visual cues). And the colorizer goes bonkers about half way through MainViewModel.cs (seems to not like empty strings).

Both of these were fixed.
I had some code that allowed certain files to be viewed as colorised, and then a bunch that could not be colourised, and then a clause that said "but if it's text, then show the text, but not colourised".
For some bizarre reason ZLib was reporting PNG files as Text files.

Dunno if this is a bug or you were playing with multiple accounts, but I received 2 notices about your fixing a problem I reported. One from you,[^] and a second a few minutes earlier from jgauffin[^] that had a dead[^] url in it.
If this isn't a bug, you really should create dedicated sock puppet accounts for testing instead of borrowing those of existing members.

That was me playing. Was testing a members account, became distracted and replied to you, then realised the error and cleaned up.

Steps to reproduce:
1. type into Keywords textbox the following: "designer diagram"
2. choose from Tags dropdown: "C#, WinForms, WPF"
3. click Search button.
4. observe the count of resulting pages (should be 18)
5. click page "2"
6. !!! First BUG !!! -> observe the count of resulting pages increased to 22
7. Hit Search button again
8. Notice that resulting page count again returned to 18 (so my guess is that during page switching som search conditions are lost?)
9. click page "3"
10. Notice that resulting page count again returned to 22
11. click page "4"
12. !!! Second BUG !!! -> The Tag textpox and dropdown is cleared.

My article count is incorrect since publishing my sidebar gadget article, and may have may have fallen foul to the 'do not make public' bug, as i used this initially.
Cheers,

The article count is fixed. Sorry again about that.
Trying to figure out, how it happened

I think it happens if you;
1) create an article
2) select the do not make public checkbox
3) Click publish
4) Edit article
5) uncheck do not make public checkbox
6) click publish.
It happened before with me, and i am sure the sequence of events was the same.
Cheers,
dave

Yes, you are correct.
Thanks for the very detailed report that make the problem easy to reproduce.
The bug is fixed, so after i will push the change to production it will not happen again
Sincerely,
Elina

I published a Programming tip yesterday THIS[^] But tip was not appeared in Home Page. So I was hoping it to be appeared today, But unfortunately NO.
Then I further investigated THIS[^] Page. Which is depicting all the TIP/Tricks published in CP everyday.
Now As I am looking in homepage The TIP published before mine is there. The TIP published after mine is also there, But Mine didn't come yesterday or today.
I am not arguing but I wan't to know whether my TIP is that much BAD that doesn't deserve to be on Home Page ?

We have an open bug that some items are being listed on the homepage according to there posted date, not moderated date. It could be the case here.
