It does that all the time. The next time you visit the article, it might be okay.
CodeProject layout is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

Or rather a box of cocktail nuts. You know there's a macadamia in there but all you get are peanuts.

Ouch.
Are there specific issues you have with the layout and if so, in which browser?

Sorry, I just got into the flow of things once John started with his chocolate analogy

IE 8 on Windows 7 64 bit here. I've seen a few weird layout issues in the past week or so, but I assume most of them were due to site-updates and my not having got the latest page/html. But the issue that continues to hit me is how the css does not load and the page loads looking totally messed up. This happens at least once or twice every day.
Another slightly unrelated thing is that the IMG tag seems to be enabled in forums now. I don't know if you intended that or not.

It's not limited to the forums...

Yep.
Is this a new feature for sufficiently reputable users?
EDIT =============
Nope. It's been "fixed".

I've fixed this internally but have not yet had a chance to deploy.
I certainly want to ensure thiings work with IE7, but can I suggest, for your viewing pleasure and your security, you upgrade your browser if possible.

Sounds like a plan. Will do it at home but my work browser, I have no control over...it will have to stay at IE 7.

I have installed the latest version of FF and the viewing pleasure has increased 10 fold. Now, I am bashing my head and asking myself why I just didn't do this sooner. Happy Holidays.

Fine - but Bob lost his Santa suit!

Yep, he had a quick change back: but now some of the screens are grey bordered for me as well...

It's obvious that nobody is going to agree with the other persons point of view on this topic. Could we all learn from it, chalk it up to a heated exchange carried on too far and just move on? I'd hate to see the Site Bugs/Suggestions forum become an ideological/personal freedom battleground. This forum is not the place for vendettas, and they should not have spilled over into here.

I don't disagree, it wasn't my idea to use moderators as a tool though

It was your idea to post this though. Grow up, move on.

Are you implying it's OK to wish physical harm to fellow CP members, and that complaining about it makes you immature?

You know yourself that starting this thread here was a childish, tit-for-tat response to the earlier thread here, which requested the deletion of your message.
