Label component is inserted by using Table Component dynamic.
Atfer A function Table2.Rows.Count is 1.
But when i call B function which is called when i click other button , Table2.Rows.Count is 0.
I think that Table Component is initialization.
But i want to keep component.
What should i do?
A()
{
TableRow tr = new TableRow();;
TableCell tc = new TableCell(); ;
Label numberLa = new Label();
numberLa.ID = "numberLa" + index.ToString();
numberLa.Text = index.ToString();
tc.Controls.Add(numberLa);
tr.Controls.Add(tc);
Table2.Controls.Add(tr);
}

If you are not calling A() in page load then call A() in other button click event so that you get Table2.Rows.Count to 1.
|
|

There could be two cases,
1. Either you are not calling method in proper places.
2. Not checking the Page.IsPostBack
Put a breakpoint, and try to checkout my above point.
Hope this will help !

In visual studio, right click the aspx page you want to be the home page, then set as startup page. If that isn't sufficient then you can add this to your web.config, assuming you are hosted in IIS7
<configuration>
<system.webServer>
<defaultDocument>
<files>
<add value="MyPage.aspx" />
</files>
</defaultDocument>
</system.webServer>
</configuration>
Otherwise see here[^] for configuring this in IIS 6

Clarify your question please.

hi
how to change the icon of my web-form ?
when i see my web-form in the explorer i want to see my icon and not the default icon
thanks
|
|
|
|
|
Your icon needs to be 16x16 or 32x32 pixels. You can save it in the root directory as favicon.ico , or see This wikipedia entry[^] to specify a different file (with cross-browser compatibility information).
The browser caches the icon, and once it does it is relatively difficult to update, so be aware that the favicon you see might not be the current version.
[Edit]
This[^] has a simple to follow step-by-step guide.

use Response.Redirect or Server.Transfer in your code.
Humble request is go and buy some books and start practicing that. then you can do what ever you want.

Search for these: Response.Redirect of Server.Transfer
I understand you are new to ASP.NET yet this is such a simple, basic activity. Just about every beginners book covers something like this.

I have nested gridview I want to perform edit and delete in child gridview and on parent gridview I want to add textbox abd button in footer template but I am unable to view footer template

I am starting to write a simple C# ASP.NET application that updates an Excel-like grid of 6 columns and about 100 rows.
I have some experience with the the old DataGrid with WindowForms apps; and some past experience with ASP.NET using Infragistics, but am totally unfamiliar with the newer Microsoft ASP.NET grid tools.
I have read that the ListView is the preferred tool to use, superceding the GridView. However, in trying to use the ListView it seems I am running into some basic limitations, like how to set the width of the list view. Is the ListView really the best tool, or is the GridView still better for simple grid applications like the example above?

Here[^] is an excellent comparison between the different *views. Hope it sheds some light.

That gives a great overview, showing how the ListView is superior to the GridView in every way.
However, when I tried to use it, there seemed to be some glaring holes, e.g. you can't just set the width of the grid like you can with the GridView. Maybe I'm missing something, but the list of properties on the ListView seemed much smaller than on the GridView, and I couldn't see any setting for "width", nor if I try a google search can I get any answers.
Do you know how to set the width of the ListView?
