It works perfectly fine for me..
add semicolon ; at last of your statement
|
|
|
|
|
Sure I added ; at last. ...
even very simple
Response.Write("string") also got error.

You can't send script in the response stream and expect it to be executed. You need to register it as being script first. Look at this [^] MSDN page for further help.

I am not sure but hope this link[^] might help you to solve your problem.

My masterpage have as below tag
<body>
<form runat="server" id="mainForm" method="post">
<div class="page">
<div class="header">
<div class="title">
<h1>
This is Header
</h1>
I want to change
This is Header
to every pages.
How can I do from each page?
|
|
|
|

you can easily access master page controls via Master.FindControl
Here is an example [^] of how to do it.
By the way you don't need to use <hl>, use instead css styling.

Yusuf, thanks for your advise.

try string.Replace() (One of its overloads, probably the char one is what you seek.)
|
|
|
|
|
But how to replace two or more characters like for example if i find double quote or single quote, i have to replace different things.
if double quote is found..
str.replace("\"","doublequote");
str.replace("'","singlequote");
but is there any way i can have just one replace method but does these both things at once?

You can run the replace again on the replace result, like this:
str.replace("\"","doublequote").replace("'","singlequote");
You could make your own method to do so, also:
public static string QuoteEscape(string value)
{
return value.Replace("\"", "doublequote").Replace("'", "singlequote");
}

actually at first i was looking for only one string replace thing and i found by myself. so i changed it to "Answered Found already" but later again I was trying to replace two different strings replacement with two other values and so it just continued. But my both problems are solved .
Anyway thank you for your interest.

OR can anyone let me know how to proceed .. will be great help.

Does your web application use frames or divs? The solution really differs in both cases.
There's a very handy jQuery splitter[^] plugin that you might want to check out.

Doesn't have anything to do with ASP.NET. Web development forum will be the right place for this.

Actually, it he's only after the CSS then the CSS forum would be a better place. Lord knows it could use the traffic.

Is that started recently? I was not a regular poster last year and never noticed CSS forum.
BTW, congratulations for the MVP
