Using EF Code First, I have implemented a dropdownlist on a create method everything works fine
however duplicate records are posted as the method is called twice.
Any idea what I have not implemented correcty.

Model(s)

1. Use PRE tags to format the code part. It makes the question readable.
2. Did you try to use VS Debugger and see how the execution is happening?

Yes I did step through using VS debugger the create method is called and process the steps through to and including the call to db.SaveChanges(); return RedirectToAction("Index"); is not reached and the create method is called processing the second post this time after the call to db.SaveChanges(); return RedirectToAction("Index"); is returned. This is result is random in other instances the process flow is as expected but once again the create method is called twice.

Hi in file context menu on tree view:
I tried to add node to the tree and while adding it ,the value and text is set.

the new node is shown but the menu does not appear while Rclick.

plz tell me what is wrong?

Hello code project community. My name is Wayne, I run a few sites in the ASP classic and I would like to find a forum to talk about it. For example I'm trying to do a facebook integration, and Found some stuff but its not active so much and I think if we had a proper dedicated to ASP Classic it could be popular and take a load off the ASP.net folks.

I have a string in which I need to insert an ampersand (&) character.

I tried the below

if(strName == "AB")
{
  strName = "A&B";
}

But my result is showing as A&B

Can you suggest me what is wrong that I am doing?

Check your question: you appear to be asking how to insert an ampersand into a string and then do it and then get the result you asked for so what's the problem?

Did you actually mean:

if (strName == "AB")
{
    strName = "A& amp;B";
}

(remove the space between & and amp;)

i wanna do this:

1- rightclick on EACH node of TreeView shows a menu with 3 menuItem (add/delete/rename)
and to get Id of the node that rightclick happend for it.

2- 3 btn(add/delete/rename) on each node of TreeView

as u know every body uses web searching at first ...I found all u mentioned and lots of other codes
all of them have a kind of problem that i couldn't solve ..none of them where complete...
for example in this one :

i tried to write a function for each of menueitems in jump.. function ( i know afew about javascript) with getelementbyId i got diferent in diferent browsers
...and i couldn't get witch menueitem is clicked

I have a website running on IIS7 with some 64 bit components such as the oracle data provider 64 bit etc. However, when I open the site in visual web developer, it errors saying that it tried to load oracle.dataaccess.dll with an incorrect format etc. (I'm running Win 7 64 bit) so I obviously don't get any syntax formatting or intellisense etc. How can I load the side properly in visual web dev?

Hi guys again, thanks for replying and helping me so far, here's my other question since im a complete noob with asp.net. Whenever i add a ContentPlaceHolder, is there anyway to perform its alignment ? it adds a complete bar, i would like to be a rectangle with right-alignment for example, am i allowed to do that ?

Because, eventhough my webpage looks nice in the browser, if i go to design view in VS, it looks like a pretty mess of containers Frown | :(

Is that normal or im just being very sloppy?
